If you're looking for a simple explanation on how to go through a reset process for your IGT S 2000 model slot machine then please watch my video. You will need a (clear 97) EEPROM reset chip along with a (key 17) EEPROM reset ship to complete the process. They can typically be purchased online at eBay or a number of various sellers available online with the simple search.

I would love to see a detailed video like this one that also spells out how to setup it up with a 25 cent hopper to take quarters, how to setup the amount paid out in quarters/quarters and ticket, and a tito board with a printer so it will print out tickets. Thank you for the great videos!!

The best video on this topic. I have done it 5 times. Problem is that after it starts working again then when cashing out the credits I get a "Coin out jam" error every time and have to start all over. No hopper or coins, just the bill validator. What has to be set in order to be able to cash out the credits?

I have an IGT Double Diamond slot that has a low battery. I've watched your video and found it very informative, but am somewhat confused about the Key chip. If I understood you in the video, if my machine takes multi denominations (not just quarters) I will need the Key 31 chip instead? ....or in addition to the Key 17? Thanks for your video.

Darlene DeWitt you only need a 97 and 17. During the process where I set the accounting denomination and coin denom then when I choose the game percentage payout you change the denom and add the ones you want active as they’re set to disabled until you setup a payout percentage for them. Make sense?

Are the other chips on the board specific to Triple Red Hot 7's. Could I buy different reel strips and glass and change one of my S-2000 machines to a different game? If so do I need specific game chips for that game? Thank You

Danny Lott I used the wba kit as the validator.. your machine needs to be multi denomination capable to do so. Not something you can really add on.

To setup a multi denomination there’s several steps added to this process. Call me I can walk you through it. My numbers posted in one of these comments.

@@makeitmatzke998 Thank you for sharing your expertise! I really need advice and hope my Game King is an easy fix!!! CROSSING MY FINGERS! I bought a used Game King a year ago and have played it often with NO problems. I've always left it plugged in since I've owned it. A few days ago, I unplugged it from the wall. Now, there is NOTHING happening when I plug it back it. There is only ONE light on inside and no light on the bottom front (like it used to be). When I turn the power switch (on the inside) on/off, the monitor does show some light for a split second and I hear a quick powering on sound. Besides that, NOTHING! I'm so disappointed that this has happened by simply unplugging the machine. PLEASE HELP.

Hi good stuff but had a problem. 97 worked machine accepted it. Then with the 17 all lights come on along with a red lite. Any suggestions?

I'm not an expert but remove the 17 chip and check the leads on it. Ensure all the leads are straight & shiney.

When I move the jackpot key nothing happens stays on ram error. I was once able to go forward by swapping the ram chop positions. Any other tricks? Or do you think the board is bad? All this started when the 2032 died

I replaced both batteries on the motherboard and now have a problem with the boot process. I get a message "passes digital display test" and the bill validator keeps recycling. Over and over for as long as I leave it powered up. I never had any problem with it before. The machine did sit turned off for over a year which caused the coin battery to go dead. Can you give me any idea what to check. I have checked the power supply and all the reels to make sure they were seated. Down on the motherboard I have 2 yellow and 1 green LED's lit with a red one that blinks every time the bill validator cycles. HELP! Oh, by the way, if it matters, it's a Double Diamond Deluxe machine and it has always worked flawlessly until now.

Ray Scrafield by both batteries you mean the soldered 3v cr2032 battery and the green Cartha battery yes? If so, try checking the boards pins in the back for one that’s maybe bent. It could also very well be the board itself needs to be replaced... 502?

@@anthonymatzke134 Yes, that's correct. I seems that my board is gone bad. The battery had corroded and ruined the board so I had to locate another one. I wish they would have eliminated that battery before I bought the machine but who knew. Thanks for your reply.
