How to RESET hp deskjet 2620 printer review !!!

Follow these easy steps to reset your hp deskjet 2620 printer.
1- switch on the printer.
2- load paper tree with papers.
3- press and hold the power button for 2 seconds and then press and hold cancel button for 2 seconds. ( keep holding power button )
4- release the cancel button after 3 seconds and then releae the power button in next 2 seconds.
5- Wait for the printer to print a page and your printer is reset.

Thanks I had to take the empty color cartridge out after the reset for anything to print.

Yes you need ink cartridge with ink inside to print or copy not for scanning

If i reset my printer 2620, i got a print out with 3 colour boxes as u showed, but no any printed font. Please help

Same here. Full new ink, but text and images are just a mess. Tried everything; cleaning/aligning, nothing works so far. So far wasted quarter of my new cartridges.

After trying everything I could think of, and what I found on youtube, I took the ink cartridges out and sat them on a wet wipe. Hey presto, printing perfectly. These were new cartridges too, so should have been dried out.

How in the hell do I update !? Please .. I have black cartridges issue and the help centre shows to update the printer but the link they give is very un clear ..

Download HP Smart app in smartphone or laptop and add printer in the app. Now go to the app and look setting and then print quality report. You can align printer here and see if black cartridge works or not.
