BMW dealership would charge you $250 just to reset the service indicator! (Plus $450 for the oil/filter)

Excellent tip, thank you! Worked on my 2016 6 series Grand Coupe. I change my own oil every 7 or 8K km instead of the insane OEM recommendation of every 15 or 30K km...

10k for full synthetic. Or 1 year. Which ever comes first. But i change mine around 8 9k

You are a life saver! Thanks! I checked after many unsuccessful attempts and realized the clock/ date was not set up and this kept me from being able to reset the oil light

Make sure your oil level is ok . And let me know.

@@best_technician I saw on another video that it usually has something to do with the clock. I switched mine to manual time setting instead of automatic and then it worked
