This video saved the day! My daughter was on a 13-hr car trip by herself and her new F-150 screen went blank. No maps, music was a no go and she was calling me very upset. I googled this issue and watched this video. I called my daughter and told her to do exactly what this video said to do. Worked like a charm!!!! 🙌She was so happy and the stress just went away! I can't thank you enough for this helpful video. Very much appreciated!!!!

@JFernandoTrrs it does work but mine still keeps going black! We have to reset it multiple times a day..depending on how many times we go somewhere it's definitely annoying!

BRUH!!!!! Like everyone else said… you save my ass. My screen went out today’s and I call the dealer and they wanted to charge me $285 just to diagnose the issue. I google it and the first video I saw was this one. You saved me a trip to the dealer and money for the holidays. Thanks again and Happy Holidays.

This is just great! It worked in my truck! Ford said they would have to have a look at it to diagnose the issue and it was going to be $167.00 CAD. They were probably going to to this themselves.

Worked on my 2018 F150. My screen wasn't totally black or frozen. My Map portion and my connected Phone were stuck at a loading animation so I had no control over those two things. But, using this method got me back to a working state. Thanks!

Thank you.... Had this happen just now to my 2019 F150 with Sync3.... Been noticing the satellite radio would reset to SID screen and my preset pages would revert back to 2 instead of 5 every time I would get in to drive somewhere.... Your solution brought the screen back up and I promptly connected to my home network to download the latest update file....

No freakin way !!! 😳 I have a 2020 F150 supercrew 2.7 twin turbo and the same thing happened to me! & I thought the same “omg now what!?🤦🏻‍♂️” …. my screen went “black” and my audio turned off … & when I had a chance to pull over, I utubed this issue and this video popped up & dude! DUDE! 😛😳🤣🤣 IT WORKED 🤣🤗 just like “Stage3motorsports” said to do 🙂 in less then seconds that it took to view the video it worked just like that ! Nice 👍 👍

The biggest take away is this; we are having to basically a computer reset for the radio on vehicles costing 50, 60 or yikes a 100k SD. Props to @stage3motorsports
