As a collector of Ventriloquist figures . I found this episode interesting. Valuation at the end was a little on the high side .

After his restoration I can vision him setting on the ventriloquist lap around the turn of the century on stage in a English music hall. It would of been fascinating to see.

I know there were controls in the dummies back to make him move, but I had no clue that it was that complex. There are a lot of moving parts😦

600-700 just for an old dummy in that condition. I feel like if there was paper work or information of it being part of a famous act then I could understand that. Are these really detailed ones very uncommon.

Sorry. I thought it said; "How to RETORT to a Rare Ventriloquist Dummy." I know those dummies say sharp, witty things. It would have been be handy to be prepared in case I got into a verbal with one.
