Aston Martins are all about luxury and comfort - especially when it comes to the seats. Coach trimmer Matthew Hill shows how he reupholsters the seats from a DB6 Mk1 from sewing the leather and building the cushions to final fitting in the classic car itself.
Top Gear Handcrafted shows you how modification and restoration professionals use their expertise to repair and transform vehicles and the parts they're made from. Watch more here → bit.ly/36V0T9O

Honestly Top Gears KZfaq team needs to take over the TV series. The content on here is miles ahead of the "main" show.

Another great example of an Automotive Craftsman - so come on Top Gear, dump the two 'Spuds with a bucket of Suds' and post more quality content like this....

Oh my godness, I'm not usually sayin that expression cause I'm not from UK, but anyway. What I'm feeling from that video is a strong feeling of getting along with strong craftmanship, getting away with natural human feelings also. This work seems to me so inline with what a human should be proud of when restoring cars, that it has tempted me to write my first comment on KZfaq in years. Great job pal, I'd like to buy one of yours one day, not with the money, but with the heart of feeling the job done.

Hi! I have got a question! Do you do this work for yourself, or you are outsourced by sound companies as Aston Workshops to do the interior works for them?

You really shouldn't glue the leather to your sewfoam. few other things that could be done differently but gluing causes the covers to not lay smoothly and will cause wrinkles in the finished product.
