Bro, if the Balrogs wings have the tab into the torso still, use a couple small magnets to go on the ends. They'll attract each other and hold the wings in place, but can be easily taken off for painting and storage.

That is genius 👏 unfortunately they have long since snapped and the tabs are stuck in the torso. It is a vintage relic so it's often the case. Brilliant idea though and I do want one for myself so I will definitely be trying that on the next one!

keep up the good work man - your channel fits perfectly into my hobby niche, just luv it! what kind of paint stripper do you use for plastic models? do i have to pay attention to anything special? most paint strippers are intended for wood and metal, aren't they? Also would love to see some lotr dioramas - For example I'm trying my hand at a Rohan vs. Wargs battle scene rn, and next on the programme is Gandalf's arrival with his cart outside Bag End.

Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate it! So I use biostrip 20 or Bartoline for most plastic - same for metal. Although you can drop Metals in isopropyl and it will be fine - strips it fast too! (Don't put plastic in isopropyl obv) For plastics, put it in the stripper for 20-30mins, take one out and see if the paint is already coming off. (I recommend using gloves) then scrub them with an old toothbrush or nail brush until the paint is off. Rinse in water to get any stripper off, then leave out in a warm place for the stripper to evaporate before repriming. Be aware that it also loosens the superglue, so except pieces to come off, they are easy to lose in the goop! I have a video 'Reviving Middle earth....' (the first vid on the channel) that covers this process if you want visual references etc. Ok cool! I will see what I can think up in terms of Dio's! That sounds great, what a classic scene to do as well.
