I am thinking to buy and install this bracket in my Audi A4 B7 (2005) but I am wondering, is this as safe as a factory fitted isofix bracket? Thanks!

Thank you! For the isofix, you should not need to make any holes. The bracket is accessed (and clipped into) between the seat bench and seat upright. Hey there! It's a good question. It's probably POSSIBLE, but Audi do not do it that way from the factory. The mounting points are as shown in this video, i.e. for either of the main seats, but not the centre. So probably possible, but a lot more work as you'd have to custom make the mounting points, and ensure it's safe (which is potentially the bigger issue). Unless you have a car already fitted with ISOFIX then your only other option is using a seatbelt to hold the baby car seat. This is for your child’s safety and the Germans know what they are doing when it comes to safety!
