Thanks for making this video. Im planning to make a return using this method for the first time later today. The only thing I would add, is that the Amazon instructions say not to attach the label that you print out, but instead hand over the print out plus the item to the person in the store. I guess this is because sometimes the item wont have suitable packaging already and then the store puts it in a shipping bag/box or something? I noticed when choosing which return option to go with on Amazon, Evri was the only one that didn’t require a box, all the others required you to rebox the items yourself

No, you need to put the item in the original packaging that it came with, seal it up with cellotape then take the item to your local Evri or post office shop depending on the return delivery company you chose. You are responsible for ensuring the item is reboxed and sent in secure and original packing.

Its says packageless. So you packaging it like that is not packageless

You may already know this, but only some of the points accept the packageless items and even those seem to only do it on days when they feel in the mood. Ive been asked to attach my own labels and also asked to sign an electronic pad which was a step missing from this video. I’m not sure what is the point of me signing - Im signing that it is OK for them to lose it? If anything, it should be the drop point signing a receipt for me? Overall, I prefer this method to using the post office as it is very quick and you can find places that are open at odd hours when all the post offices are closed

My trainers have no packaging apart from their shoe box The Amazon return instructions say hand your “package-less parcel” So I dont need to wrap it then no??? Thanks someone

What do you have to do when Amazon gives you a QR code for "Evri drop off- no box or label needed" ?

Take the product in the original packing login to your Amazon account or email sent to you from Amazon, download the QR code, make the QR CODE Big then go to your local EVRI drop-off to scan the QR Code so that the return label with the return address, then stick this on the packaging and give it to the guy in the store to scan and you will be given the evidence to keep as a record or you can use to track the delivery of the product.

@@vinneltechhomeappliances Thanks for replying but I am confused because I got the impression that it has to be someone in the shop who uses their own packaging for it. I suppose I could put it in its original packaging and then if that's not suitable they can take it out and do whatever they need to do. I appreciate your reply.

If you don't have QR Code then you need to print your return label from a printer before taking it to the access delivery shop or post office

If I understood your question correctly, for some returns you may need to print a return ticket from home or scan the QR Code in the store, post office or return outlet

You get the code when you select return on your amazon account, it would give you option to print label or use QR code instead of printing return label at home. You need to use phone to login to your amazon account .Amazon often send email with instruction so check your email with return instruction using your phone.

The machines are not as easy to use as you think, when that message comes up ask for assistance its not always faulty. I've tried a few times and sometimes the staff are not helpful. Sometimes, the machine won't scan even if you enlarge the code and brightness. Good luck, folks 😊
