Slipper clutch doesn’t let the tyre to lock while down shifting but still there will be some pressure in the engine. Rev-matching helps in downshifting smoothly if you are on higher rpms. Above 7000 rpm.

You can learn to do rev matching as it is applicable in emergency situations, or to slow down the bike when you are on a fast pace and it helps in smoother shifts. Hope it helps 🙌❤️

I mean when i'm about to go corner. Before the curves

Go with a suitable gear according to your speed in corners. REV-matching is to just smoothen your shifts you need to brake and gear down before the corner. At a speed of 29-30 you can just gear down without REV-MATCHING. If you are speeding like 80-85 then REV-matching is necessary before you hit the corners it helps you slow down a lot faster and safer.

If you want built quality go with honda Hornet 2.0 , Cb300R , Cb200X I own R15 v3 which share same engine and parts with mt15 .. And I can tell you the switch quality like indicators are not good ..

I have been riding mt15 since two years now and it never broke down. Never had any issues and the buttons are not that flimsy as you say. Yamaha engine is very reliable

I had my MT carshed 1-2 times and i must say the fiber is really reliable. And even if you crash the cost of fairings are not that costly. I am totally satisfied with this bike build quality is also good for me.Never had any complains about the engine haven’t felt much vibrations. Overall it’s a great bike. Its my opinion about this bike it may differ from others but this is what i felt about this bike.its super sporty,fuel efficient,comfortable,and the torque is just no match.its just an opinion from my side. But at last it depends on you. I hope it helps😁

Engine brakes and match revs are no harmful for engine

nope rev match is actually done to reduce wear and tear on of the gearbox (if you do it correctly) it smoothens the down shifts
