WOW! Outstanding! I love them both! Colors were perfect! Such meticulous work as you always do. No guesswork, you always explain what you use and how and why to use it! The shine was incredible! Your artistry brings out our devoted patriotism! There’s so much magic in those hands of yours, it’s incredible! Can you tell me if turpentine works on paint as well? My brushes never got cleaned. I worry about the environment too when disposing the liquid. You asked for ideas and this came to my mind. On holidays, etc., why not individualize small plates with a picture of that family member and where they should sit! Instant place card! Or one for each persons birthday! You always manage to spark my imagination and that’s a good thing! Beautiful job!

Hi Michelle, Thank you so much! It was a little bit time consuming, but not too bad. It took me about a week to finish them. But I go back and forth between several projects at the same time. Hello Claire my friend! Thank you so much and yes you can eat off them. There are no paints of any kind on the face of the plate. But you need to hand wash them. You can't put them in the dishwasher or submerge them in a sink of water. Thank you for always watching 🤗😘

I can’t say enough about sponge painting and the beautiful texture it gives. Can you throw some ideas around painting tall wine-like bottles? I never know how to fill in all that space. I love themes revolving around Italian wineries., Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I like adding any decoupage materials,moldings, etc. Also, I have the metal bases that came from broken French presses to put the bottles in. How would I paint them? Thanks,

Hello my friend! I actually have a box of bottles in my garage that someone gave me and I've been trying to think what to do with them. I'll plan a project with one of them. You could spray paint the metal bases and then antique them and finish them off with some different colored rubs. Aged brass and Firebird are always gorgeous. Thanks for always watching 🥰🤗💖

It's a metallic rub that looks like copper. It's sooo pretty. The aged brass is also a metallic rub. If you use the Polyvine multi surface lacquer as a primer, you should be able to use craft paint. Or you can prime it with a coat of matte clear spray sealer first and then paint it.

Hi. i love all your work. it’s so gorgeous…i just have a question. Is the plate safe to use with hot food or in microwave? thank you. i will definitely will be making decoupage plate soon since it’s to hot here in phoenix to be outside.

You shouldn't have a problem with hot food at all, because nothing is on the front glass. As far as a microwave, I wouldn't. The metallic paint may mess up your microwave. Watching you from the great state of Texas! I LOVE these plates! And that rice paper is absolutely beautiful!!!! ❤🤍💙 Inhave seen someone else use the pentart fine line crackle that’s the two parts and the antique paste. It’s makes things look sooooo high end and gorgeous!!! I LOVE the tiny crack lines it makes! These are just absolutely gorgeous! ❤️
