After 10 years owning my celica I’m able to use keyless entry,, one of the best videos for celica owners right now thank you so much!!!! The only thing that I will suggest is not buying the receiver box in eBay , I went to the pick and pull and I found one in a matrix but I was able to see a lot receivers in the corollas too!! Only $5 and I got the remote eBay $9. But this I video made my day couples days ago when I was able to make it work !! Thank you

Thanks for making this video!! I have owned my Celica GTS for 17 years with out keyless entry and now I was able buy the parts and program everything for my car for the very first time I was able to lock and unlock my car!!! Thank you for your video!!!

2003 Corolla module $10 at junkyard. Remote GQ43.... $10 on eBay. Keyless entry into my 2001 Celica GTS? PRICELESS! Thanks so much!

@@sl0wyota2zz Yes sir. 100%. Door control module from 2003 Corolla was plug and play. FCC ID starting with HYQ Programmed FLAWLESSLY on the first time.

The corolla has trunk open, the matrix has hatch and rear glass open, if you buy one of these modules, are the buttons just dead? do they pop the doors? just curious how this would work as a celica fob is lock doors, unlock doors, and panic only. thanks for making this video btw!

hey there the odds of somebody replying to this message is very slim I'm aware of it but I followed your instructions with the receiver and the remote my car goes in program mode but the remote does not bind to the receiver is there any fuses or relays I would have to install since my car didn't have it from the factory

Hi , found your video on key fob programing , nice job my only question I found a modual that starts with G and ends with 27r like you mentioned from matrix. But I the remote that I got on Amazon is a three button. I've looked for red one and the only one I found was in the 03 highlander. When I lock I don't have any lights flash only on unlocking any idea why

Awesome video! What if you have the factory keyless entry and would like to install a factory VIP RS3200? I have to research this again but I might have to remove or disconnect the preinstalled receiver since the factory alarm will be used for the keyless entry. Thanks again for posting this video - very helpful for all those that want the factory keyless entry!

So I am able to reprogram one key fob that came with the car, but when I try to add another key fob (one I bought from ebay that has a newer look with they key and fob in one), it does not work. When in programming mode I press lock and unlock and the locks cycle twice and nothing happens after I try to use the key but the original key fob it works fine (programming and using to lock/unlock)

So I had a remote before for my celica and lost it , I did dismantled the car yesterday but I was unable to find the box do you think there is a box somewhere else hence the lost remote was working ??

Hey buddy.. I bought a box from the matrix and the key fobs to match.. found out that my driver side door lock actuator was broken. I tried to program the new remotes to the new box and it's not working.. were both of your actuators bad? I'm hoping that if I replace the driver side actuator it will work?? 🙏🙏🙏

Correct, both actuators need to be fully functional to properly lock and unlock everything.

Yo so if we have power locks and doors will that harness line be there 100 percent? Like the only thing tjat could be missing is the receiver box right

i feel like my celica had a keyfob at one point because i did the programming process just to test it and it would do the lock and unlock programming mode thing, i personally dont want to take off the plastic in the trunk because its a pain to check if theres a reciever inside maybe i will check eventually.

If it goes into programming mode, and it doesn’t work, then it’s the batteries

@@sl0wyota2zz the door locks locked and unlocked which supposedly means its in programming mode but I don't have a keyfob but I feel like it has the receiver inside

I found a Reciever that has a FCC ID: GQ43VT27B . Will it still work with a 02 Celica?

Is it necessary to have the red light on the left of the steering wheel next to the window lock? Or is that not necessary?

Can you help me with something? Im planning on buying a 2001 automatic toyota celica and the guy said the keyless entry remote isnt working to turn over or anything that it has a red light at top that wont go away??

And then said he tried to start the car last week and the security system went off and wouldnt turn off? Till the battery died.

It probably the door lock actuators that need to be replaced...did you buy the car? Or was it the keyfob needed a new battery?

I don’t think it will work, man the “B” needs to be “R” . But if you’d like, try it and see what happens

use either the corolla or matrix box. first double check and see if there's a harness plug in there that isn't connected to anything. Also which fcc id does your remote have?

HYQ12BAN is the fccid. The old school Toyota fob with the panic button on the back
