As per my experience on a long rides these points are very important 1. hydratration drink water as much as possible kyuki Pani ki kami body ko exhausted kar deti hai. 2. Start your journey early in the morning because traffic kam milega aur aap faster distance cover karoge and beside that morning me scenery bhi accha rahta hai 3. Travel in highways kyuki road Accha rahta hai google bahut time class Le Leta hai short cut mut lo road aur other conditions ka kuch pta Nhi hai Kaisa bhi threat ho sakta hai 4. Long distance riding kilometers ke hisab Nhi hours ke hisab se Karna chahiye jyada rush aur speeding dengours hai kyuki uski wajah se kam bar Hum khud ka life threat kar Lete hai aur Isse aap Apne breaks bhi manage kar sakte ho 5. Good music is also is good company on those long rides. 6. Jitna lagauge jaruri hai Wahi carry Karna chahiye aur use acche se bike me manage Karna chahiye 7. Bike ko bhi Ek dum optimal condition me hona chahiye chain cleaner and lube Hamesha carry Karna chahiye 8. In between ride Khana bhi thoda thoda karke Khana chahiye ise appetite Ek dum first class rahega Jisse Aapko light feel hoga and journey aaram se hoga 9. In between ride rest time me stretching Karna chahiye usse body me blood ka flow Thik rahta hai aur aap joint and other pain se safe rahte ho. 8. Aur sabse jaruri bat bike aisi choose Karo Jisme comfortable raho aap along the journey kyuki bike per Koi bhi long distance enjoyment ke liye hi karta hai toh discomfort me Kabhi enjoy Nhi kar sakte. I rode 290 KMS at bajaj platina, recently, in first week(end) of December (2018.) I started it around 5 pm from Delhi and reached to my home town exactly at 00 hours, midnight through the smooth track of NH24. I can still feel the final 3 hours ( at avg 75-80 KMPH speed) of break free journey at that chilling night. Nose was running at super speed.. chilled wind was poking like an arrow, pitch dark roads patch was giving a goosebumps feeling at times, and the super awesome thing was sore bum issue :P But, and a big but, I had to make it before midnight anyhow. And, When I finally reached to my destination, I was literally cold as though I was sitting in a freezer, even though I was fully packed with warm clothes and gear. I drank a glass of warm water and had Tea, later. Further, I made my trip to Dreamland in no time. Long distance endurance riding is like marathon of rides. People may like 100m, 200m or 800 m running, but there are a small set of people who love marathon running. Long distance riding is something similar. According to me, anybody can do 1400 KMS plus under 24 hours, perhaps if they want to, enjoying the ride, with an running average of 60 kmph+. I am still doing driving long trips. I started long trips in 1999 and I used Hero honda splendor. In a single day I covered 765 km on it. Simultaneously I used CBZ for 3 years and duke 200 for 5 years but still my 3rd splendor is with me.

Great video, Bhai. I was wondering, does the bike also require a break on such long journeys? I thought you'll talk about it in the video. Does the power of the bike matter when it comes to covering long distances? I have a Himalaya BS4. I have heard from other riders that if someone has a 400cc bike they can only go 400kms and have to wait for like 30mins before carrying on, so the engine doesn't get messed up, is that true?

Hello Bulu Bhai. I, along with one of my friends want to ride from Pune to Hampi in this month. The ride is typically of 580-600 km one way and it will be our first long ride (we have completed 150-200 km one way rides before this and are riding for last 2-3 years on daily basis).
