Just for those who are wondering, the smaller your wheel the easier it is to climb. ie you will find it harder to climb a hill with a 29 inch wheel and easier with 20 inch wheel.

Maybe you can make a video of a steeper hill. The uphill pedaling action becomes one pedal at a time, and it requires you to "hurl" your body back/forth a bit and twist side/side more. A true test of endurance and maintaining some reserve for control. This severity can also be simulated when going uphill offroad or on grass (with hidden holes and rises). Keep on.

Yes, that is good suggestion. I will seek out an appropriate slope for a steep hill video.

Sound as if your spokes are creaking under power?

how do you ride over tree roots while going uphill🤕
@george9192 Жыл бұрын
Compress just before the root then pull up a little and unweight as you go up and over the root. This is basically the same technique for going over larger tree roots on flat ground. 👍

Thanks, @george9192. We did a little video showing going up curbs, this is a similar technique. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lcCao6tjnazdh40.html

@@george9192 may be the uphill is already too steep for me, the little tree root is the last straw that breaks the camel's back

@@hfjchan I face the same issue too. Legs already fatigued going uphill and can't exert that extra strength to push over a small root.
