As a Blood Knight I found new faith in the Light after the restoration of the Sunwell.

Paladins are an embodiment of the Light, priests believe and have true faith in it. Pallies summon the light through will, priests use it through prayer. That's a big difference between the two, not as much wether or not they prefer close combat, priests can be battle clerics.

Great video but the difference between a priest & paladin is that priest calls upon the light & cast it, while the paladin does the same but also channels the light through their body. "Galell snatched up a nearby sack, whipped the door open, and clasped his hand around Orovinn’s throat, driving him against the far side of the hall, channeling the strength of the Light into his grip, trying desperately to ignore the clash of discordant noise within his head as he did." That was from the chapter Blood of the Highborne from world of Warcraft paragons about how the blood elves became paladin & the 1st few Blood Knights of the order. Galell was very weak physically before he became a blood knight & by channeling the light it make him stronger. Ingame term I'll have to say something like the seals.

After Arthas killed most of the paladins of the Silver Hand, the remnants became the Scarlet Crusade. The Argent Dawn was formed until the death of Alexandros Mograine, when Fairbanks spoke out, revealing the corruption of the Crusade. Those who listened left and formed the Argent Dawn.

Alright, I have a question about the light - to use its powers, do you have to believe that your cause is right and just, or do you have to believe in your cause and that it's working? For example, if you tried to use the light for selfish, evil reasons, and you knew that, would you be able to use the light, if you believe that your cause is working?

Hey Doron I was wanting to know what you thought about implementing more melee into the hunter class, like a separate spec for the hunter so we can melee again much like survival hunters back in the day but with more melee abilities added too it and shorter ranged dps? hey Doron some paladins within the scarlet crusade did the right thing in fact brother crowly in Legion declared that the scarlet crusade would assimilate into the alliance and all the fanatical torturers would be deemed enemys of the true crusade. They now serve the alliance church and are basically a non-neutral less undead tolerant version of the argent crusade

Mind redoing the druid rp guide? Most of it was really just a debate about history and who founded what, rather than how to rp druids effectively. I felt like it fell short of its potential in what it could have explained, such as various nature magic, less emphasis on shape shifting and more on the 'groups,' and just more about druid abilities in general.

What stops other races and/or classes from using the light if all it requires is conviction? I know Night Elves can be priests, so why can they not combine that usage of the light with their knowledge of warriors to create paladins? What stops a simple hunter from enchanting/blessing his arrows & bullets with the light, or just making ammo out of pure light to pierce through foes? If all it requires is faith in yourself and your beliefs, what stops him from aiming his hands and casting a smite? I'm talking strictly lore here btw, not gameplay reasons.

Actually, the tauren ARE paladins in the exact same sense as the humans and dwarves. Mu'sha, the moon in tauren mythology, is the tauren name for Elune. Just as the night elves get their druidic power from Elune, the tauren get their druidic power from Mu'sha. An'she, the sun in tauren mythology, is the tauren name for the Light. Aponi and Tahu recognize An'she not as a physical being, but a representation of the Light in the world. The Sunwalkers as well as the tauren priests draw upon the power of An'she, so therefore, they are channeling the EXACT same powers as the humans and dwarves. Also, the dwarves are VERY prominent paladins, more so than the blood elves until Burning Crusade. Since the humans first encountered the dwarves, the dwarves have learned the ways of the Light from the humans, and one of the first five paladins in the Knights of the Silver Hand was a paladin. Throughout the duration of World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade, dwarves were devout followers of the Light, but in Wrath of the Lich King, they returned to their Titanic origins, although some dwarven paladins still exist in the Knights of the Silver Hand, who have been in hiding for years since their dissolution. The draenei are by far the greatest followers of the Light, and every draenei, paladin or not, has a connection to the Light in the form of their racial ability, Gift of the Naaru. On Draenor, the paladins, known as Vindicators, were the most prominent caste of draenei, led by none other than Exarch Akama. If you read the discriptions of the virtues of light of the church of holy light from the humans and then the teachings from the Draenei in Shattrath near A'dal, you see that the Humans have build up a far more complex and deeper philosophy about the light than the Draenei.

I tend to RP as my main character, a former Knight of Strongard, Warrior of old Arathor, turned Paladin of the Silver Hand, veteran of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd War & a all the other major campaigns after. I suffer a lot of PTSD Vietnam style, drink heavily and known sexaholic womanizer with a heavy amount of a elven & dreanai women fetish. He is mot exactly a true devote of the Light let alone a pios follower or believer of the Light, but someone who has strength in its virtues, but is not blindly foolish of them. I was heavily inspired by the Legend of King Arthur and Knights of The Round Table, The 12 Piers if Charlemagne, The Teutonic Knights, The Knights Hospitalier, The Knights Templar from our world history with a bit of debauchery from George R.R. Martin A Song of Fire & Ice with Knights of Realms in the Andals and the Mounted Warriors of the North in Westeros.

A palladin is nothing but a warrior that has learned som spells. in the beginning tincans prevented spell casting. but in order to create some new in games they had to come up with some. dark paladins believe in darkness and can throw spells that make you wommit - fart and get thinshit. or what ever. (my own creation) ha ha ha.
