I agree! At first I didn't like the idea of the Nightborne joining the Horde but after some research and time spent playing them it makes sense 100%. They are my favorite allied race so far. Thanks for your comment! :)

From a lore standpoint it doesn't make much sense to me. After the Cataclysm the Highborne returned to Night Elves society. Nightborne could have easily been welcomed back. What happend at the Sunwell was something between High (Void) Elves and Blood Elves. Nightborne always thought their whole world was destroyed and their families lost. I'm sure they would have done anything to reconnect with their society. Oh well for me only some part of lore is canon. Blizzard screwed everything up since Metzen left.

@@KevinArcade87 I'd gladly take Nightborn into the Alliance, but Blood Elves and Nightborne share a more common ancestry - the Highborne, while most of the current Night Elves are not people of the elite class. The Highborne has always looked down upon the common night elves, especially the ones who practice druidic magic, so it's no surprise those two don't gel well, unlike the blood elves.

@@Ryan-sn3uo Yeah I mean, I think the Nightborn would have been better joining the Alliance, since I think the Alliance fits them more, and Tyrande didn’t actually reject Miss Thalissra. She understandably questioned her and was cautious but she kept helping. Thalissra was pretty petty to base her choice of faction on one comment especially since she should know why she’s asking it and emphasise with Tyrande. However I will agree that they share more similar history with the Blood elves. But think as factions the Alliance fits them more than the Horde, since they have more in common with the Alliance races like humans, worgen with how they were walled off too etc, than the horde ones, Orcs, trolls, Tauren, goblins, you know.

I'd say disregarding the arcane aspect, the Nightborne share some similarities with the Night Elves "Saved the world" - when most of the time the (blood) elves of Quel'thalas were to reluctant to g beyond Eversong and aid their neighbours, and the true heroes are those left off in Draenor (high elves) "Walled off" - when the faction has been more welcoming of races now more than ever, even welcomed back some void and blood elf exiles into their ranks

Thalryssa never bothered to understand Tyrande's motives and her need to also fend off the Legion and Nightmare in Valsharah. The only reason they're allied with the blood elves is because Blizz wanted it, not because it was the most natural thing to occur. Specially after Thalryssa is willing to just head to Ashenvale and skin her some night elves immediately after pledging her allegiance to Sylvanas.

@@queenvaru No problemo! < 3 And yeah I was wondering too myself, since when I was playing through the zone I wanted to play as the Nightborn for RP, and luckily managed to catch a few things. If you want to see them yourself, the shrines are usually small, and in regular houses, and either on a table or near red pillows.

Me too. I am a little irritated about it as well. I think the horde deserves at least 1 other paladin race somewhere! But that's just me because I love paladins! Apparently the ways of the monk are very easy to learn.
