It seems like Disney never heard of the concept: "a character we like to hate"

Seeing people calling disney’s bullshit out really warms my heart

The way they portrayed Boba Fett in that whole show felt to me like a novice D&D player who wants to play as a bad guy so they create this whole dark and edgy character but when they start playing they completly fail to commit to the role and they just do everything as a stereotypical good guy

I love Ahsoka calling Boba's bluff in your version of the series. It just fits her character so well. In a pinch she took risks and gambles, and was reckless. Just like her master, Anakin. And in her character arc she learned to rely on those reckless impulsive gambles less, but that's still an ability she has when things are going bad.

I like how a random person on the internet can make a substantially better story than a multi-million-dollar company ever could, and actually understands the franchise more than the people who own it.

Boba's change of heart never made that much sense. Sure, they showed him with the Tuskens and learning to become part of their tribe but just because he learned to care for some people doesn't mean he's suddenly nice. The Tuskens aren't nice, they kill and enslave intruders to their land. They could have made Boba a better person who cares for his people but was still ruthless towards his enemies. If you've ever played Fallout: New Vegas, they should have made Boba like Joshua Graham, they even have similar backstories.

Mate, your version of the book of boba fett is wonderful. Deeply felt. True to character. Disney needs to take note.

Your version of the Boba Fett show had me on the edge of my seat! Could add a bit more conflict between them if Boba remembers that Ahsoka was involved in him ending up in prison as a kid

Only 2 issues with your recreation of Boba's story: 1) Bossk is possibly a poor choice of character to use in showing Boba's lack of attachment as he was one of the only people who nurtured him after Jango's death. If it must be him, their should be context into why he no longer cares or is surprised. Either he detached himself sooner between Empire Strikes Back and now, or it can add to the message of those he cares about dying, idk. 2) I would mindlessly start shipping Ahsoka and Boba way too hard if it were depicted like this and it will bring me nothing but shame.

This man really just wrote a better season than disney could ever give us. Just one thing bugs me: wouldn't Boba have a negative reaction to seeing Luke at the end? Because y'know, it's not like Luke and Co are the ones responsible for knocking Boba into the Sarlacc pit in the first place

One thing I noticed about this show: Cad Bane says that Boba Fett has gone soft, yet the show never really justifies this change in character, apart from him living with Tusken Raiders, and even then, that seems like a weak reason.

The way you present and write your own version of the story is incredible. You're an amazing storyteller and I can feel your passion for it!

I really like how the pitch disregards fennec shand entirely, as she feels unnecessary to boba’s character past getting his armor.

One thing that I haven’t seen talked about is the fact that in the OG Boba Fett books (written for kids - which talks about Bobas earliest years without his dad) use a Black Book which has holographic lessons from his Dad which was basically a fail safe for if Jango died, and was meant to be his last lessons for growing up etc. I genuinely thought they were referencing this black book in the title of the show, I thought Boba was going to travel the galaxy finally getting revenge on people that Jango had listed in his Black Book and we could’ve seen a huge amount of the galaxy.

You should look at what disney did to "Artimus Fowl" the story where the main charater is THE villian, but slowly over the course of several books starts to change his ways. And then disney made him a perfect gentlemen

There was an AMAZING book series I adored as a child that was a Boba Fett series starting shortly before Jango dies, and ends a few years down the line from that. It showed Bobas naivety turning into cold hard distrust. I really liked that series, and I wish that this show had pulled more from it.

What I like about your pitch is that it takes the center of Boba’s darkness and sends him through an emotional journey that turns it on its head. I feel like Disney is terrified for any of its lead characters to have any kind of darkness.

You know there’s a problem when the most feared and respected bounty hunter in the galaxy says: “I’m not a bounty hunter.”

Honestly, Boba's character carries his story. The writers could have just done the laziest fan service, showing off episodes of him going on meaningless missions and it would've been better than what they gave us.

I remember up until 18 years ago my vision of Fett was like that of the man with no name character usually portrayed by Clint Eastwood in the Sergio Leone movies. I almost cried when I found out that they changed his voice in The Empire Strikes Back.

I've been working on an outline for my own rewrite of this show, trying to build off the character that was set up in the Clone Wars show when Boba was a teenager, failed to take vengeance against Mace Windu, and then was basically raised by a series of other bounty hunters such as Bosk and Cad Bane, only to find himself alone and then fed to the Sarlacc. In my mind, he would be bitterly angry when he came out of that, but at himself more than anything. I don't think he would blame Han Solo, which has been depicted a few times in legends, nor do I think would he blame Luke, as they had very little to do with one another despite Boba being instrumental in setting up Vader's trap for Luke. So when he finds himself a slave to the Sand People, who are a tribe of isolated warriors who can be every bit as brutal and unfeeling as he is, it could set off some real soul searching for him, sure. But the way they went about it was all wrong. Firstly, I think he should have killed the other slave who tried to raise the alarm when he tried to escape. Spare the kid in a moment of rare hesitation and honor, but then have him show off his skills as a bounty hunter by taking on every tusken who comes at him, despite his poor health, until finally the best of their warriors engages, and still only barely beats him. They would then see in him a kindred spirit. They wouldn't need the whole scene of sending him off stupidly with only the kid to guard him. Also, have him never say a word to the tuskens. He's always been a man of few words, so he wouldn't waste them if he didn't have any evidence that they spoke basic. From there, have him help the tuskens take on the pikes similarly to how he did in the show, but instead of them randomly getting wiped out, have Cad Bane show up, and say that he was hired by the Pikes to get rid of Boba and his "little tribe" but out of deference to their history together, would give Boba one chance to get the tuskens to back off himself or he'd return and slaughter them all. Boba knows he has no choice. He's not a match for Bane without his armor and gear, so he gets the tuskens to back down, and departs to go recover his things. That's when he runs into Fennec Shand, who he pressures into helping him. Then on the way to recovering the Slave 1, they run into Dengar and team up with him as well. The ship was locked down and neglected, so they need to have it repaired, which will take some time (Dengar knows a good mechanic who will be discreet), so they start looking for Boba's armor in the meantime, and they do it by using their black market connections not flying to the sarlacc pit. Eventually, they track down the Jawas who sold the armor to Cobb Vanth, and after killing some of them and threatening the rest to get the armor's whereabouts, Boba heads out to Mos Pelga to retrieve it, but the Mandalorian got to it first. Fennec advises Boba on who the Mandalorian is, and what he's capable of, and they devise a plan to ambush him and get the armor back. Dengar doesn't want to entangle with the guild, so he sits that one out, but offers to hang out in Mos Espa and see what he can find out about the Pikes' operations in the meantime. From there, we skip ahead to after the end of the Mandalorian season 2, where Fennec fills in Boba on what happened with Luke. He strongly considers going after him, we even get to see a bit of his rage and hatred for the Jedi, but decides he can't betray his word to the Mando, or abandon the tuskens. Fennec asks why he cares about the tuskens, and he can't explain. He's used to being alone, even prefers it that way, but for some reason, they remind him of himself when he was younger, before he grew completely jaded. And though it's not much of an explanation, Fennec declares that if he cares about them as much as he seems to, then that is good enough for her. She'll stand by his side, even once her life debt is repaid. So from that point onward they determine that their mission is to force the Pikes off of Tattooine, and for that, they'll need not just some muscle, but an army. When they return to Tattooine, Dengar tells them about the situation, that the local crime boss, Bib Fortuna is weak, and hasn't pushed back against the Pikes at all, and that the Hutts are upset about this, particularly Jaba's cousins, the twins. So Boba goes to Nal Hutta to speak with them, offering to overthrow Bib Fortuna, in exchange for the military might to go against the Pikes. They make a counter offer, they will allow him to take control of Jaba's forces on Tattooine for his war, but he must ensure that all of Jaba's offworld assets are turned over to them. Afterwards, he can do what he likes with Jaba's Tattooine forces, but if he decides to keep them, he must pay a tribute (something small, like 2% of all profits) to them. This deal gives both sides what they want, and also it gives the Hutts deniability with the Pikes should Boba fail. But they add one more requirement that Boba take one of their own bounty hunters with him, Black Krrsantan, as well as an accounting droid to keep track of their assets and other interests. At first, Boba declines, since he and Krrsantan have bad history, but the Twins insist, and again Boba has no choice. Before they leave, Boba and Fennec decide that if the wookie gladiator is going to be on their team, they might need someone to keep an eye on him and watch their backs, so they agree privately to go recruit Bosk before returning to Tattione. Obviously, this plan doesn't sit well with Krrsantan, or with Bosk at first, but both are persuaded reluctantly. They can spend another episode or two recruiting more bounty hunters, one of the largest such teams ever formed, most of them aren't used to working with so many others, and Boba isn't the best leader, but he has conviction and purpose that he never had before, and he not only learns to make it work, but gradually finds that the responsibilities of leadership suit him. With the team assembled, they are finally ready to storm Jaba's palace, leading to the death of Bib Fortuna and Boba claiming the throne, just as we saw in the Mandalorian season 2 end credits teaser. There's a brief celebration, only for Boba to call for silence, stating that the day may be won, but the war is only just beginning. Their next target will be much harder to bring down. Cut to Cad Bane observing Boba's men from a great distance through binoculars. They are moving about Jaba's palace, making it their own, and Bane growls out some ominous comment about how Boba is way in over his head if he thinks he can play warlord. And that's season 1 of the Book of Boba Fett. The tuskens are still alive, but Bane knows Boba is up to something and the Pikes still need to be dealt with, plus the Hutts have leverage over Boba and are not known to be charitable or compassionate masters. There's still the possibility of a confrontation between Boba and Luke at some point, and it's not totally clear what kind of leader Boba will be. We've seen him act honorably toward the tuskens and other bounty hunters, but also he's been ruthless and cold blooded toward people who get in his way, or who don't matter to his schemes. This would allow the entire crime war between the Fett Enclave and the Pike Syndicate to be its own season. Hope some people find this interesting.

Bossk and boba were actually really close, bossk kind of protected him while he grew up, we see a lot of their relationship in clone wars.

Pairing Boba with Ahsoka is a really unique idea, I would have never thought of it. The clone connection they share is so cool.

I wish you could write Disney's stories. Your version of the story felt so much more creative, and even got me emotional towards the end. Well done, Henry!

I just paused the video half way because I wanted to say: YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS STORY REAL! It's just so good! I actually teared up at the concept of how sad and tragic it could have been. It would have been such a beautiful and gut-wrenching story. God! I want it! ... okay, moving on to finish the rest. ... Okay ya. I'm back. Hey, Star Wars? Disney? Yeah. This. This is it right here.

The badass anti-hero they were looking for was right there, as detailed in the character analysis, and he was already one the most popular characters of the entire franchise. Yet the writers just tossed him aside and wrote an entirely different, goody-two-shoes of a character who just also happened to be named "Boba Fett."

I think the thing that made me mad the most was that Boba Fett is one of the most ruthless and cold bounty hunters in the galaxy, infamous for backstabbing and serving the highest bidder yet they still tried to make him a good guy. He was literally raised to be a killer by his father but after spending a few months around the sand people he's a changed man. Instead of trying to replicate the formula of the Mandalorian from the later episodes which was just helping random people they could have gone for the first episode where we see him as a cold but not cruel killer. They could have even explored the darker parts of the criminal underworld but no, the main character needs to be kind and altruistic because that's the Disney way.

You should really keep doing stories like this, i haven felt emotion about star wars for a long time, but your little story and with you narration let me imagine a better world. Thx so much!!

There is a second alternative idea; Have him fail to build the crime empire. He’s a drifter, he doesn’t stay in one place and travels around for his work. His childhood was isolated on a hidden planet surrounded by kids who would be children for 3 weeks and then turned into deadly soldiers. He doesn’t understand how society works yet when he takes over Jabba’s empire he says he wants to rule with compassion and friendship, something a universe like Tatooine just doesn’t really have. A alternative season would have him fail, his idealistic views genuinely crumbling under him in the first season, a second season learning from his mistakes and building up slightly, and then over a long long period of time we see not Boba having an arc but the people of Tatooine as Boba helps turn it from a crime ridden planet with no love to a prosperous fair society.

I would argue that Boba Fett does have a flaw: He’s too damn nice. If your going to be the boss of an underworld, you need to be both feared and respected. Boba had neither of those going in for him. No crime boss either feared him or respected him. It also doesn’t help that the tone of this show was all over the place. It tried to be Dances with the Wolves, The Godfather, and The Mandalorian Season 3 all at the same time.

Boba's persona in The Mandalorian S2 just didn't add up to how they portrayed him in TBOBF. He went from ruthlessly smashing Stormtroopers (that he didn't specifically have anything against) he went from that, to letting a bounty hunter Wookiee go, that tried to kill him mind you, and letting spoiled kids with power ranger speeders insult him, yet he picked a fight with the other Mandalorian girl basically because she insulted him (Cosca Reeves, I think) It just made no sense; sure, he seemed to have a bit more honor or shall we say decency, in his dealings with Mando and showing some kind of care for Grogu... but he didn't seem to have gone completely soft, as he was portrayed in TBOBF.

As always, your storytelling ability is incredible. The only addition I think would be cool in this storyline is working in one (or multiple) other bounty hunters that the Hutts have sent after Boba. They could arrive while he is still viewing her as a bounty or after he has gotten to like her (or in-between). I think the aspect of the Hutt’s continued bounty on her specifically could lead to a bunch of great stories, or even an aspect of the next “season” of your clearly superior story 😊

Your story board for the show is soooo good. This should definitely be a season 2 to the show.

22:37 I think it'd be cool instead the line "as you wish" he could instead say something like "make it 30 million." It'd show of his bounty hunter roots and give him a more intimidating presence in that moment instead of choosing to back down, he'd still be bitter he can't kill the jedi but he'll make the Hutts pay for it

And let’s not forget the part where Luke friggin’ Skywalker of all people forced a child to choose between becoming a Jedi and saving his father. Are you kidding me.

I just discovered your channel and I’m so glad you brought up the flaws of BoBF! I thought I was the only one who was aware of this issue. Your vision of what the show could’ve been like had me agreeing the whole time and imagining it all. Especially if Boba and Ahsoka met and how he reminded her of the clones 🙌🏼 that would’ve had me balling (the clones and Rex have a special place in my heart) 😭 It would’ve brought everything full circle but tragically.

i find it interesting that people always say that characters like boba aren't interesting enough for a story but forget that the expanded universe is a thing. Yes it has its flaws but it still feels like it has more complexity and characters in the moral grey than disney.

That Boba rewrite was great!!! One small inconsistency though: There is a part in your story where Ahsoka recognizes the temple as a sith temple rather than a jedi temple based on the brutal protections planted around the weapon. My problem with this is that to my knowledge, both sith and jedi temples are sites deeply tied to their respective side of the force and as such, would radiate strong light or dark side energies to force sensitive visitors (Please correct me if I am wrong about this). I think because of this, Ashoka would have sensed from the start that the temple she visited with Boba was a sith temple, which means you would have to replace that section with another idea that still produces suspense. For reference, I believe Yoda visits the sith temple of darth bane during the clone wars series. Perhaps looking at how that was portrayed would lend some context as to how interactions of jedi and sith temples play out. On the whole however, I believe your rewrite presents wonderful new ideas while also rectifying the problems with Boba Fett's character. I love it!

Disney seems to forget that making a flawed character is good. . . Unless that flaw is being flawless.

Disney don't understand why we love Boba. He was dark, distant, cold. We never saw him without his helmet, never could tell what he was doing or what he was going to do. He was gloomy. Not a villain, but not a hero either. They've turned him into your standard hero, as all Disney characters are. Always making the right decisions, and fighting for the good side. The main reason I'm excited for the Andor series, is becuase I want to explore the darker, less friendly side of the Rebels, that Cassian mentions in Rogue One. After the BOBF, I'm starting to get concerned whether we'll even see that, or if Cassian will turn into some crazy good hero.

I'm five minutes into this video and regarding what you say about boring characters: there is a reason I found Cassian Andor SO intriguing from the very first moment we saw him in Rogue One. And they did an amazing job on his show as well.

Ok, even just the beginnings of your character analysis of Boba Fett, detailing the long-term emotional effects of him only loving one person as a child, and that one person being killed, are just blowing me away. Amazing stuff. Sucks even more now that Book of Boba Fett was nothing like that.

It is both lovely and tough to listen to your rewrites. They are beautiful, thoughtful, fun, and harbor deep respect for Star Wars. It’s good to know there are people who love it so much, and hard to come to grips with the fact that they are not who is in charge. Breaks my heart to know what we could have gotten, but still good to listen to a better story for a while.

After the first two episodes I was absolutely expecting that Boba will be gathering power in order to help the Tuskens. We got two episodes with them, the Tusken chief and the black clad female Tusken felt more like characters then any other henchmen that got introduced later. We got the vision of water. I expected full on Dune-like fremen story

What it should have been: A Show about Boba being an actual Bounty Hunter, working for the Empire, Jabba, and other Buyers collecting Bounties and being a Badass. But nope, we have A Disneyfied [Officially a word, it’s in the dictionary] Boba Fett, Trying to Rule Tatooine… For some reason… [There are some things that I live about this show, Like How we get to know more about the Tusken raiders, and episodes 6-7, Etc.]

This channel both inspires the desire to write in me and also keeps me humble, because I could never do what you've done with Boba Fett, for example.

I always thought it would be a fantastic idea for Boba to either interact or mention somehow his exchanges with the Clones from the army. Whether that be while they were current soldiers, or maybe retired/injured or homeless. Seeing his own face everywhere throughout the galaxy as he got older. Maybe a group of ex soldiers in a cantina all missing limbs and he buys them a round of drinks. Maybe he considers them family in a way? Or maybe he's constantly reminded of his fathers death every time he sees one. It's such low hanging fruit that they couldn't be bothered to even show or talk about.

The second they took his helmet off I knew they didn't understand the character. He's supposed to have mystique and subtlety. That's what made him so cool to begin with. You can't overexpose him.

Somebody get him a job at Disney writing star wars scripts. These are the stories we need, arcs, things to hook you in, twists, & stuff to work off of for future projects. Great stuff

It's really strange because when you watch the mandalorian season 2, you really get the feelling they understood what people wanted from a Boba Fett series and how to make the character compelling, but then they did exactly everything wrong. The book of Boba Should have been an anthology series where Crime Lord Boba confides his memoirs to a scribe droid. Episodes would have been a mixture of key flashbacks of the greatest contracts in the Bounty Hunter's life, intercut with modern day segments where Fett has to deal with a literal plethora of scum , criminal and bounty hunters in his palace scheming to take the throne and betray him. , with the lessons from the past influencing his decisions in the present.. Think game of thrones meets the mandalorian with a pinch of the sopranos in having the protagonist opening up on his exploits to someone. Would also have solved the fact Fett is a loner and most his bounties woud not have had anyone present to banter with him... Heck the show is called fricking "Book of Boba", yet there's no book...

This was so badass. I felt like I was reading a novel and saw everything so detailed in my head listening to this. Ahsoka facing Rex, then Vader.. holy shit just imagine seeing that on the big screen. I fuckin hate what Disney has done :/ so much wasted potential.

Not only did they turn Boba Fett into a generic good guy, but they made him a secondary character in his own show as soon as the Mandalorian showed up. It really felt like he was there to set up the story for Mandalorian to kick ass on screen and once that happened, they didn't know what to do with him.

I think a very small change they could've made is Boba already knowing Cad Bane killed the Tuscans. Boba would have a specific reason to want to build up his forces if Cad Bane is working for the Pikes. It would also just make Cad Bane more relevant to the whole story and give a clear objective and villain the whole show.

A problem I had with the show from the start was that I could never see Boba settling down in one specific place. To me, characters like him and Mando have always been wanderers, just like Max Rochatansky and Clint Eastwood's "Man with no name".

You need to make your version of season 2 now, you got my deeply invested with your version

Bro i listened to the second half of this like the audiobook you recommended. I beg, get this a full expansion in novel form or something, i would buy that in a heartbeat

I totally agree: he's not the same as in Mando. His sudden major character switch comes out of nowhere, and feels like it was developed off screen (ahehemem Luke Skywalker ahemehemem) which you should NEVER do. I was excited for Boba to have his own show, but after watching Book of Boba Fett, I realized that with antagonist-like characters, they are better off as side personalities in a larger story. The term "leave while you are still having fun" comes to mind: give the audience glimpses or badass moments of a certain character, but don't show their entire story. Mystery is powerful. Mando uses this, less so now, but when they wrote him with a mystery cloak (or mystery box depending on who you ask) he was incredibly cool and engaging. I like that you pointed out the Loki similarities, it reminded me of the when they gave the Winter Soldier a show of his own. Remember how cool and mysterious he was in The Winter Soldier? That was so long ago. Everyone loves a good charming and mysterious antagonist, but in reality nobody (save maybe superfans) wants to know absolutely everything about them. This give-the-antagonist-their-own-show formula will likely keep happening in a world of franchises and continuations. I just hope they keep characters like Davy Jones isolated to two movies, I'd wouldn't like to see a detailed backstory of him and Calypso as cool as it may be.

This "flawless" character trend is honestly driving me up the wall. The thing that entices viewers/readers to engage in a character's story is their flaws mixed with a clear aim and misbelief (Abbie Emmons has a great video on what a misbelief is). A character without flaws is not going to have to struggle to chase their goals and has nothing to personally overcome and therefore is not interesting or relatable. *Edit* My interest in Star Wars has waned dramatically over the past few years. I didn't watch the Boba show, but your version sounds much more like the SW I liked as a kid and I would 100% tune in.

You forgot to mention Boba's arc in the Clone Wars animation(3 episodes), his with a group of bounty hunter, and trying to take revenge of Mace Windu for killing his father, he is still a lost child with a moral compass, but with rage for what happened, It's worth watching.

It's baffling how Disney of all, falls for amateur writting mistakes such as making a character have no flaws. For me if you want to write a character, make their trait being their flaw. It defines them better, it makes them more sympathetic and it makes their character arc and journey all the more impactful when you see them coming from the other side. (Edit): I got actual goosebumps from your alternate season. I even forgot I was watching a youtube video. It's a shame how much quality is being thrown out the window for marketability.

This is definitely a very cool idea! I don't even follow new!canon for Star Wars, but you got me invested, your proposed series really drew me in. I love your effective video editing for it, too. I was wondering as I watched the video, though: hypothetically do you think that the series could have sustained an interest if, instead of doing what it did, it had followed more closely to Boba's old-EU/Legends adventures from the same time period, as told in The Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy of novels? I'm not saying that would necessarily have been a good idea, I'm just curious. Might they have stood a chance as a series, if they were adapted to the new continuity and their pace had tightened up a bit, or do you think they would have lost the audience just as much as the current series did?

I loved Boba in season 2 of the Mandalorian. He was cold, calculating, and a ruthless badass once the fighting started. But he also possessed a warrior's code of honor. A great template for a lead character. What in the hell were they thinking?

Great vid, my problems with boba is that the second he came out of the Sarlacc Pit, it felt like he was already fully developed into his new nice guy character. I just want badass character to be badass, and my childhood heroes to stay heroes, sadly people nowadays will twist that mindset to be a bad thing, to the point where it feels like we aren’t allowing to criticize Star Wars anymore.

Apart from yet another needless KOing of Ahsoka (seriously, she has been rendered unconscious seventeen times! How is she not brain-damaged?), your version of the series is great. The droids and collar being a cool addition. It's nothing groundbreaking or unpredictable, but it's compelling, especially what would be the core - the relationship between Boba and Ahsoka. It would be a pairing one would not expect. I found the whole 'sith temple with ancient sith weapon we have never heard of' idea a bit eye-roll-worthy, but the exacution, especially the emotional part, would have been wonderful.

4:13 - 8:45 In all fairness, though, this only REALLY applies to Disney's live-action movies. Their ANIMATED ones have solid protagonists.

I love how you incorporated the prequels as a core attribute to the characters and their motivations as disney should have done too. The moment where ahsoka has the vision of rex and then even vader is incredibly sad in my opinion. And i like it all the more for that reason! I think it would make the scene even a little notch better if vader glitched into anakin from second to second. The evil Vader taunting ahsoka continuously mercilessly but in a split second changing to the face of anakin whom we expect to be compassionate but in his eyes there’s a fuming rage and he screams at her just like he did to her before padme‘s death. When Boba finally arrives she doesn’t see boba, but in fact Rex. And it isn’t the evil sith anakin standing there but the good, kindhearted anakin. And Rex reaches out for her hands and in that moment the music blasts the iconic force theme. I absolutely love your pitch on this story. Your writing always has twists and turns yet doesn’t suffer from that. Can’t wait for a rewrite of the kenobi series :^D

not to mention, bossk. bossk only had a few seconds of initial screen time, yet he became a main character in the clone wars animated series and is a main character in the battlefront games. it supports what you said about how interesting star wars lore is and how you can make a good story for anyone in this universe.

I thought we were past Boba Fett when the Mandalorian came along, I thought we were finally free of the sadness of seeing such a badass character be squandered in the worst way possible, Din filled the hole in my heart left behind by Boba. They must have thought they could have a second Din in Boba, a badass character that also has a heart of gold underneath, but they forgot that doesn't really fit Boba's character, Boba is a relic from Pre-Disney Star Wars and he doens't really fit in this new Disney, but dare I say we don't need him anymore cause we have Din now. I'm convinced that if the Mandalorian wasn't so succesful they wouldn't have done this to Boba, Disney must have went: "Hey, this Madalorian character is pretty well liked, is there another star wars character with similar design, backstory and demeanor that we could make money off?"

bro your boba fett story for what the show should have been was literally the best story I have ever heard in my life. You are an amazing storyteller. Disney should hire you.
