How to Run Faster! Who doesn't want to run faster? If you are an athlete, you likely already know the importance of running speed.
This is why in many sports try outs, combines, tests. You will be tested specifically on your sprint or running speed.
Also if you are a parkour athlete, running faster will greatly increase your chance of success in an escape or chase situation.
You can't run faster than your assailant or you are not quick on your feet you will fail.
And even, for your own personal enjoyment... being able to beat your friends in a foot race or finish that 5K with a powerful sprint or kick is an incredible feeling.
So today we share with you 1 exercise to run faster..
Great thing about this exercise is it's simple, only requires a sturdy wall, and small space....No track or giant football field needed.
This exercise will develop quickness, leg strength, and stride technique.
What allows you to run faster?
A study from Strength & Conditioning Research discovered faster sprinters:
1.Had longer strides
2.Were experts at moving there feet quickly to the ground, applying force, and lifting their feet from the ground quicker.
3.Had more strength in their legs, allowing them to apply more force.
This exercise will work all 3.
