You need to create a WhatsApp link first before using it on the Ad level

You will need to create a WhatsApp link first. Just go to you Google and type WhatsApp link. Then use the link generated at the Ad level

Good day, sir. I had put the website destination for more group members to my WhatsApp group but I had published the ad and reviewed it on my Instagram, I clicked the link. It took me to the website for WhatsApp but quickly showed a pop up notification about Going back or Continue. This notification has made me lose any group members as people mostly press go back instead of continue. Is there alternative?

Me too 😭. What i later did was using the messaging goal. When they Messaged me, I automatically send them the Group link using Whatsapp business quick reply. So far I pay N470 per message. I have 25 messages but 80 linkclicks.
