The Jagdpanzer 38(t) (also known by misnomer "Hetzer" (Endurance Hunter)) is a rank III German tank destroyer with a battle rating of 4.7 (AB) and 4.3 (RB/SB). It was one of the first vehicles introduced in the opening of "Ground Forces" in Update 1.41 after the Closed Beta Test. The Jagdpanzer 38(t) presents itself as a low profile tank destroyer with a powerful main gun that could keep itself hidden and annihilate the enemy as they come, yet with impressive front armour that could withstand an average amount of incoming enemy fire.

This thing is scary until you realize that almost anything can pen the sides at pretty obscene angles, especially against the Russian guns

Just don't get too cocky with this thing at CQC, I killed many of them by lobbing a shell between the UFP and the LFP.

How do u guys have so smooth medium to long range graphics? Even with 8X Anisotropy, my screen looks pixelated at range. So I cant see a damn camper.

i think the hetzer is downright disgusting, teir for teir it has the best armor and best gun compared to every other similar tds in other countries, just another blantant vehicle where germany gets overperforming vehicles at lower brs

I would say that too if it weren’t for the fact that it is weak to .50s from the side. Aircraft guns also go straight through the top because it has really thin armour there too

Don’t do that against 76nm American tanks the can pen u front and never use hezter against the t26e1 with its 90mm t15e1 gun which can and will go straight through if it apcr

@@motmot8879 All hetzer has is a front armor and nothing else, JagdpzIV is better on everything else, with bush camo the front armor coverage difference will be gone. You can confidently use Jagdpziv in cqc but not the hetzer, and if hetzer being spot at field any plane can pen its 8mm roof

@@motmot8879 Also you can't angle the hetzer, or enemy will pen its side armor frontally, but with JagdpzIV it's really easy to bounce incoming shells with tornado rotation

@@FD_Stalker i disagree with most of your points, first off, why are you angling a very Well armored already angled TD with no turret, secondly the profile, the jgpz IV is way easier to kill while angled because of how flat the side Armor is while being very thon, thirdly, the gun is much easier to take out on the IV because of the muzele brake, the IV is Also way bigger making it easier to get side shot while going around corners, and finally, if you've playing those mainly as cqc you're playing it wrong

@@motmot8879 1.Because you need to peak corner in cities; by applying tornado method your survivability at frontal engagement strongly improved. 2.You are wrong about profile, it's never about width but height, and Hetzer is taller than JagdpzIV, and JagdpzIV are way less likely to be shot/pen on sidearmor than Hetzer. 3. German td is actually good at cqc, especially JagdpzIV series solo and Ferdinand with support. Hetzer in another hand, can't mobile, can't maneuver, can't turn, absolute garbage armor other than front, get spotted and die
