Much needed video for brake failure. Your method is pretty much exact way to stop the car. For automatic you have to shift the gears from drive to manual mode and reduce gradually to 1st gear and then apply either handbrake or electronic parking brake. Keep rocking birla.

Excellent demo bro. Road Transport department has to suggest to use all your videos for learning safe driving, especially this particular video. I have seen in gulf countries, in regular intervals they keep separate track away from the main track filled with big gravel stones to reduce the speed of the vehicle and stop the vehicle during brake fail situation. Our government also may use such idea to prevent major accidents during break fail situation. Thanks and hats off to you bro.

I experienced another scenario in hyundai IMT vehicle, If you reduce the speed to 20km's while in 4th gear, the vehicle doesn't move and doesn't switch off until you reduce the gear to respective speed to keep moving, so engine braking is automatically applied. In this kind of brake failure scenario, this automatic IMT vehicle is good.
