Saying "I miss you" can be expressed in formal, standard, or informal ways. You have to choose which version you'll use depending on who you're saying "I miss you" and how formal or polite you want to be when expressing you miss someone.
Practice saying this phrase during the pronunciation section to make sure you are comfortable saying it correctly. It'll be useful if you're living in Korea or if you want to say you miss someone in Korea.
This phrase is the standard and the most common way of saying "I miss you" in Korean. You may hear other people simply saying 보고 싶어 (bogo sipeo), but this is informal and shouldn't be used unless that person is younger than you or you are very close with them.
