Thank you for writing it phonetically in English. My hearing isn't great, so learning a language is very difficult. I hear it thojee and am missing the z, but thanks to you spelling it out, I got it now.

My husband is from Egypt and for year I’ve been saying it like Zowjee. Now I feel lost🙁

In fusha/standard Arabic, it IS pronounced zowjee. زَوْجِي (my husband). husband is zowj. زَوْج. She seems to be saying the standard Arabic word with an Emirati/Gulf pronunciation?
