Unfortunately, I don't think scammers care whether you have a child or not. I dont know why he stopped talking to you but im glad he did stop. I watch Kitboga pretty much on a daily basis lol (among other scam baiters), and these scammers get vicious! They scam the vulnerable elderly without remorse and it's honestly so sad. I'm glad you recognized the scam for what it was because these criminals can really wreak havoc in people's lives.

As someone who regularly runs Disney and has done the marathon. Yes you can run with Lucy as you push her. Just register her as an athlete with disability and yes, she gets a bib and a medal at the end. I’ve also volunteered to hand out medals when I’m not running and they are adamant that anyone with a bib gets a medal, and tell the volunteers where to look for bibs depending on the athlete or mobility device involved.

Beware of the bank scam going around. The number for your bank actually comes up to make you think it’s your bank. Don’t ever answer, just call your bank to see if anyone was trying to call. I’m so paranoid my teens or husband will fall for this.

Ferngully was the movie I ALWAYS picked when it was my turn to pick the movie we rented. My grocery store also had one of those movie rental places. It was the best part about going to the grocery store.

Very infrequent commenter here but I just had to say that I loved everything about this vlog. As a SLP, seeing how supported and happy Lucy is was wonderful, and seeing you incorporate her AAC device into her daily routines was 🧑🍳 😘. As a mom, seeing your loving interactions with her makes me just want to go hug and kiss my own kids. As a wife, hearing you and Grant talk about your shared goals is inspiring.

Honestly what you guys were talking about is really where I am at also and it feels so nice to hear someone else talk about it. I’m an RN in a very stressful area (worked 16 hrs just yesterday) and I have things in my family that are stressful and out of my control plus two kids under 4. I’m finally about to start a new position and I’m really trying to cut down on my stress levels to be more present and healthier in general for my kids. I just need to add in the exercise 😂 Also, I’ve said this in a comment before but my 3 year old loves your videos and this morning my 1 year old loved seeing Lucy and would stop and watch her. 💕💕

I loved listening to your fern gully coloring contest story. I actually won a coloring contest at our grocery store as a kid too. It was for easter and I won a huge bunny stuffed animal, it was like the size of me! Definitely a core memory :D

Dude the way i felt as a kid winning my local walmarts coloring page contest..... ill never forget it. Granted my grandmother worked there for 20 years so i imagine there was some corruption going on in that voting, but i felt great. Lol. I will say i remember people loving my drawing. So maybe, maybe not. 😂 Either way. Core memory. I'm so into that rug. So cool!

Lucy is getting soooooo tall. She’s just gets more and more gorgeous and I can see how her hard work is making her stronger! Seems that whoever used to own your house was into seafoam green like the person who used to live my house. 🤦🏻♀️😂 My kitchen and bathroom cabinetry are a lighter version of your island and it’s driving me bat s@#t. I don’t own my condo so I can’t paint it and I refuse to purchase anything that matches. I’m just pretending it’s white. 😂 🙈 Are we getting a Grant channel? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Totally agree with what you’re saying about our favorite things as children being really detailed. I was constantly checking this book out from the library; I couldn’t get enough of it. It’s called The Fabulous Fairytale Follies. Description: “As various fairy tale characters audition for parts in eleven productions of the world's favorite fairy tales, young readers follow clues and find the stars of each presentation in richly detailed, full-color, double-page spreads.” It’s a core memory for me, too! I recently purchased it again as an adult. Much love to you, Lucy, Grant, and Luna!

There are tons of videos on youtube about those large call center scammers. Most of them are based out of India and they have full on office spaces dedicated to these types of things. I stumbled across one and it was very interesting, and disturbing.

My ‘scam the scammer’ is kinda bad but I swear it helps decrease calls. I see via caller ID one is calling. I pick up. I listen- I get all excited and make them think I’m falling for them ‘oh hi! You can help me pay off all my debt and all you need is my credit card?! Wow! This is amazing! Why don’t I give you my card #! Better yet- how about my social?!’ they do tend to quiet down and pause lol. They think I have taken the bait. PS- I never give them any info. When I get to the social, I say ‘my social is 1-2-3, 4-5….’ and they tend to hang up on me 😂

I recently rewatched Fern Gully for the first time in at too many years and now I realize my taste in men (Zach!) and my love of Batty and all the ways it imprinted on me. Tone Loc “if I’m gonna eat somebody...” I sing that all the time and forgot where it came from 😂❤❤❤❤

Fern Gully!? My girls were born in 2004/2007 and I made sure they saw that movie! It’s so cute. Also, after last vlog I looked up Caroline Girvan…started her Epic 1 program and it’s been 3 days and I still can’t walk😂😂😂. It’s the best worst feeling 💪🏻🥰🥰🥰

Yes!! I loved this book series my school library, I think it was called Amelia’s notebook. It looked like a composition notebook and had notes and doodles in the margins on every page.

I know you already have a new wheelchair but in the future if you want to look into getting a Convaid Cruiser pediatric wheelchair the company was purchased by etac. You can order it with the canopy and they also have rain covers made for the wheelchairs. You can also order the tray table, bottom basket and extras and they look kinda like a stroller. Anyways just sharing in case something like that will be useful in the future.

That same scam happened to me just the other day but it was Walmart. I asked him why he was calling from AZ when Walmarts main office is in AR he hung up! So this scam is going aroun 15:13 d with regards to different membership so be careful.

I won a coloring contest too. I won this huuuge stuffed animal from the movie Pocahontas. I swear the stuffed animal was 4 feet tall. We kept it for a while, but eventually we gave it away because it was so tall.

Our now 19yo would always around this time when the winds shift he’d end up with sinus infections thanks to the pollen count. Hope Lucy is feeling better
