In today's video, I will show you how to scan a QR Code with your Samsung Galaxy smartphone! These are matrix barcodes that appear everywhere and are able to be scanned by smartphones!
Let's dive in.
This will work on any Samsung phone such as Galaxy S24 Ultra, S23 Ultra, S22 Ultra, S21 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Fold 5, Flip 5 and more.
One UI 6.1, 6.0, 5.0, etc

Should be able to. the code itself is simply a picture and gives you the basic info for the link.

Yes. Just click "scan qr code" toggle on the quick setting menu and choose image option and select the qr code picture that you want to scan

you can scan it by opening the picture from Gallery and tap the T (extract text) after that tap on the QR code

Less steps to just open google lense which opens the gallery and tap the photo. Literally 2 taps

Hi Sakitech thanks for this very helpful and very useful video on how to use a QR Scan code. I am a 70 yr old Scotsman and i had no idea how to do this. Lucky me i subscribed to your fantastic educational KZfaq channel. I wish you could make a short video naming the icons in the camera because i can never remember what they do! If the icons was named this will make using the camera much much easier. I would simply take a screenshot of your YT Video with the App names then i will remember what each icon actually does. Many tech companies always forget about some senior citizens (millions of us) would definately find such a video very helpful indeed. Sakitech i hope you can make such a short chart. A big thank you if this can be possible on your YT Channel. 😅❤❤❤

Hello again Sakitech. My apoligies in reply to your video about How to scan a QR Code? I forgot to add i have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5g mobile. I never knew how to scan a QR Code properly on my device. Now i do thanks to you! and your fantastic website. I live in Scotland not the USA. I hope you can find the time to make a short video clip to refer too showing the words what each icon in the camera actually does. With instruction on how to use. Tks Sakitech. 13 May 2024

Great tip! I knew I was doing it wrong and had added a QR code reader app. If I can use the camera, it's just easier.

If the options aren't available, scroll down to the bottom of seeing and click reset settings. You now will have the options set for scanning QR codes.
