It’s a bit of a process, but really good to know there’s an option. Would be nice, if there were an option for “Once” besides daily weekly and monthly.✌️

You can send the message, clear the message and recipient, disable the shortcut, and enable it when needed again.

@@ralphmilleriii9957 that’s ridiculous. As an iPhone user, this is too much of a redundant action. On an Android, a one time scheduled message has always been an option. It’s pretty pathetic how Apple has yet adopted this feature.

@@chris5103 I agree. It’s very ridiculous, but what other options do we have? I’m just trying to make a cumbersome process a little less cumbersome. I’ve had my 1st iPhone for just over 3 weeks after having Android devices for over 11 years and I’m also just finding out that Apple doesn’t have a stock clipboard manager. These tools are so simple and effortless on Android devices. Google’s stock Android Messages didn’t support scheduled messages for many years until recently. Sometimes these huge corporations overlook or are too arrogant to implement these simple, yet powerful tools.

Thanks for this video 🙏🏻 because for some reason my iPhone 8 is updated to iOS 15 something but my shortcuts don’t have the send delayed response ext option in the gallery . So after I watched your other video to show how to send delayed messages using that, I watched this and it worked! Thank you for this. My husband deploys soon and will be 10 hours ahead of us. So this is wonderful. I wish there was an option to do different messages and keep them on rotation but this is already so helpful. I'll just change the message daily I guess!

this is a lot of work, on android all you have to do is say “hey bixby, send a message to (whoever) at (whatever time in the future) that says (whatever you want)” none of this having to go and create an automation that doesn’t even have the option to send just once. Seems like it would just be easier to remember to send the text ! Starting to regret the switch to iPhone

Can I do this for groups of people? (I send the same text to 100 people 3-4 times a month). But the texts needs to not go out as group texts. I currently turn off group texts when I send those particular texts and then turn it back on after I send the text. Can I automate this also?

Its showing monthly. So it means it will send in the same date of every month right? Because the schedule is not showing the exact month that i choose..
