Excuse me sir, actually i want to ask that , in chp 6 of concise mathematics based on quadratic equations , in some questions the negative ans. are ignored.I mean .. suppose x = 20 we and or x = -7/3 .. So, Now on verifying the ans., I concluded that the +ve no. is acceptable , where as - ve is not and in the question there's no where mentioned that the sol..n must be in +ve no. So basically, I want to know that what shall we do when we will get that type of question in examination ?
