Nice vid. Would have been been awesome if you had actual defenders trying to block you, to finish on, as your examples.

Another way is to do a hop step in the lane and stay on the ground so the defender jumps into you and fouls you

honestly just keep playing theres no real life hack secret to gaining confidence. Once you believe in yourself(after obviously seeing how you play) it will come to you. If your ass and people know it than its gonna take a toll in your head but if you believe your good and want others to believe it and play with that mentality you'll have confidence. To be good, you need to play a lot, to play a lot is to be confident.

I draw 3 fouls a game.My question is:why do I convert only 55% of my freethrows in the game but I make 90% in practice
@ThincPROBasketball
@ThincPROBasketball 6 жыл бұрын
You need to practice under pressure.... shoot your free throws in practice just like you would in a game. Pretend like the game is on the line every time you shoot in practice!

THINCPRO Basketball we do. make free throws or run and I make a lot of them but my form and routine at the line gets ruined late in games where I'm tired,how can I replicate that in practices?(we usually have a break before shooting free throws)
@vinuzo9548
@vinuzo9548 4 жыл бұрын
Isn't it obvious? Train hard and shoot freethrows when your tired. One tip in games though is to stand outside of the circle, or take a short walk before you go to the line. Basically stall as long as you can so you can catch your breath, as long as your outside the circle, the ref can't pass you the ball. When you finally receive the ball you have a little over 5 seconds to get the ball up (I've never seen a ref blow a whistle for taking to long) so take some deep breaths before you start you freethrow routine.
