How do you put it on trans effect to make your Dj wheel sound like that
@iancowley_DJАй бұрын
Phil. Never do another scratch "tutorial", like ever. You can't do it yourself, so how can you teach somebody? It's like me walking into a math class and pulling out a calculator and doing 2x2 and showing them 4 on the screen, then dropping the calculator on the floor and shouting "math" on the way out the door.

You are training your thumb to act as a spring, keep that in mind, the better your thumb springs, the better you’ll be with the fader. Hope this helps

YOU ALSO NEED TO PROGRAM THE CROSS FADER TO INSTANTLY CROSS OVER WITHOUT SLOWLY GAINING VOLUME. SO WHEN YOU MOVE THAT CROSS FADER EVEN A LITTLE YOU GET THE SONG ON THE OTHER DECK AT FULL VOLUME EVEN IF YOU DIDNT MOVE THE FADER TO THE MIDDLE.

How do you program your cross fader cause mine is works but does not pick it up 100% it’s like a second volume button instead of going straight to track the cross fader is on.. if anyone could help pls & thank you 🙏

Sound easy but difficult to do. 😀
@billle51597 ай бұрын
How you really do it is with your thumb and pointer finger . And you tap the pointer to the fader while using the thumb to bounce it back to shut now add the rest of your fingers in a smooth motion. Don t worry bout speed just get use to using all your fingers on the crossfader. Rotate between one finger two three and four . Mix it up and you get that exact sound from any sample.

Quick question on the crossfader do you set it to gradually fade out when I get to the end or only just a fade all the way out when I get to the other side?
@djfloda07 Жыл бұрын
This is how I first learned to dj, I'm a turntablist, the platter on the cdj is not built for scratching so make sure not to scratch on it too often
@dabaddestdj2010 Жыл бұрын
That’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard lol…scratching too much has no effect on cdjs they are made with that in mind…
@porkchopexpr3ss Жыл бұрын
@@dabaddestdj2010 Not as in able to handle with being used too much, but in the sense of when applying pressure on a turntable vs cdj it is definitely not the same smooth brain.
@takingafatdump Жыл бұрын
@@porkchopexpr3ss don’t know what you’re talking about. nobody said anything about the platter design of cdjs the topic is about if they can physically hold up to scratching which they can. scratch as much as you want on them.
@TargetAcquisition Жыл бұрын
A CDJ platter is just fine for scratching. Been doing it for over a decade.
@TargetAcquisition Жыл бұрын
@@porkchopexpr3ss That’s a lie. CDJs are actually more resilient and stronger than traditional turntables. Over 25 years, and I’ve broken more Technics 1200s on tours than CDJs.
