Hi, this looks great! Can I ask what type of clay you're using? I thought that it had to be kept a certain thickness [not too thick/not too thin] to avoid cracking when firing. Thanks :)

It’s also possible and more usual to make a mould of clay sculptures and produce a cast rather than firing them. If you want to fire it you would have to cut in half and hollow out the clay to an even thickness. It looks like he’s using a water based modelling clay here.
