I've always used a little less water initially, then heated it in the microwave before mixing with the salt and spices. After my solution dissolves, I add ice cubes to quickly bring it back down to room temperature and close to the proper proportions. Love the vids brother, I use them all the time. Keep up the good work!

Brining, to me anyway, is to help with the moisture. A benefit that hitches a ride is some flavor additions. I fully expect to post season to adjust to my personal flavor preferences and heat level as I like a higher than average heat. Glad you went through the process and shared the results. Boiling is a hassle for this purpose.
