Thanks. I'm not very smart when it comes to projects like this so your video helps. I'm planning to secure a pole in order to support a home weather station. Concrete is definitely the way to go.

Geeze wish I watched this before I set my mailbox lol. Didn’t occur to me to clear out the inside of the pole now I’m wishing I had!

US postal regs prohibit setting the post in concrete or deeper than 24 inches. The reason is they want it to break away when your drunk neighbor plows into it.

So you used one 60lb bag for a 10in hole? How much would you use for a 24in depth/12in diameter hole to support a 4x4 post? Google is giving me wildly different answers. Oh and how much water do you think?
