In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how to see yourself on your webcam while screen capturing using the the Open Broadcaster Software to screen record.
Webcam Viewer: download.cnet.com/WebcamViewe... -- The webcam viewer will show your web cam on the screen and you can use the OBS screen recorder to capture both the game and the web cam image.

You can also just create the windowed projector, but also keep the camera source, then just resize the camera source to hide the title bar of the window. You will have to resize the projector window to match the aspect ratio (getting some small black bars), but it works fine and no external apps needed.

@@GianPlazaThe fake one that is displayed in OBS will hide the smaller one that you projected for yourself so the footage won't display the bar (Masking the projection with the scene webcam)

Hi Keven, thanks for the tutorial. Very helpful as always. I have a question, do you have a way to check scenes similar to the one you mentioned in the video? I mean if I switched scenes how can I check if I'm in the right one? May be being able to project to another screen? Does OBS have such service?

Great job, bud! I just watched some teenager's tutorial on how to get OBS and Twitch setup. My connection is probs better for recording than streaming right now, so before uploading to KZfaq I had to learn how to get the camera in the corner just like you showed and this has been a great help. Thanks, really helpful, but does that then mean that you cannot chnage the webcam settings and customise it like you usually could in OBS (e.g. scale it down or cut bits from the side etc.)? Is there any way you could see yourself but also edit what the webcam records?

All you need to do is drag & drop the sources - Look at them as layering - Webcam on top of display. You don't have any window etc or need to use other software. Hope this helps.

1. Thank you so much. I've been looking for a solution for over 2 weeks. 2. Is there a way to toggle between enabling the webcam/disabling it while recording? 3. Is it possible to crop and resize (like with the actual video capture in OBS)? I'm putting a course up online so I appreciate this very much. Glad I finally found a solution.
