Great explanation - thank you. My unit now pumps every couple of seconds rather than every ten seconds (which was a nightmare in a low-level shower!).

Really good to see this open, however the suction on the pump, meant we had to really work to get it open. The black clip was very tough, and so we had to press it open a bit to get it to slip open. When they say do this every 6months they do mean it. I didn’t and had a vast amount of gunk in the tank. The motor Is amazing to work though it all. But I could only really clean it inside because I have small hands.

Hey Danny. Is it safe to get the float part out when it’s still connected?

Hello how do you clean this withhout opening it? i have it under my bathtub, so access there is little bit difficult and i noticed recently it started to smell bad when it operates, any ideas?

Hi, If the unit cannot be accessed for cleaning, thats an issue and you may end up with no choice if it breaks down anyway. Im not sure of any way to clean it without taking it right out… Sorry. Just remember to have some towels ready if you disconnect it incase it releases water in the outlet pipe! And turn off the power too 😊
