How to set a Conibear Trap. Best tip for 110 Conibear!

Жыл бұрынOld Conibear Traps are broken in and pretty easy to set, but if you buy new traps...they are tight! Don't spend money on any trap setting tool. Use what you have. Here is how I use a 3 foot piece of paracord to easily set a new, tight #110 Conibear Trap.

Thanks for the tip with the paracord. All of these videos of people setting the spring by hand, that doesn’t work with a new conibear at all. I have large hands and could not squeeze the spring together for nothing.

I usually tell the new hires to Hit It With Their Purse. But this is a great idea.

Got it thanks,, I only cought my finger once using the cord. I was hurting myself before and couldn't get it set. Now it's set and I'm still ok

Can’t you just squeeze the trap open? I set 30 per day by hand
