How to set GE control board personality jumpers

Looking to learn how to set the personality jumpers on your GE control board? Many GE appliance control boards for dishwashers require you to set the personality jumpers when replacing the original control board with a new one. In this video we will show you a step by step process on how to set the personality jumpers on your new control board.
The main control board shown in this video is Part # WD21X24902 (PD00054855) but the instructions in the video apply to many different part numbers and models of GE appliances.

Good video, but yeah, no need to pull the machine apart, can get to everything from the front, just disconnect power and the kick panel, very helpful though, found another video on the jumper setting as well with the new control board. Make sure that that is configured properly before installing !!! Thank you!

Thanks so much. My goodness I couldn't find this info anywhere ! My GE dishwasher is a ZDT870SPF7SS, has a circuit diagram that has two settings. One is a user interface board setting, the other is a machine control

I have a GE gas dryer model number GFD55GSSN0WW. The other day the entire control panel started flashing, Im assuming as if I had somehow reset the entire dryer. From research, it was the personality. I don't know which one to select 0-7. Any chance you could help me out with which personality to choose?

I have GE model GDT695ssJ5ss I replaced control panel. It lit up the ui board and all worked .. but now again it’s not working 2 wks later. I originally had no power at UI and found other video telling me if I heard specific beeps it was not UI but control board. Now I don’t see personality p-jumpers on orig or new board? Any ideas? My control panel is square shape- little diff than yours.. found error code was 815 beeping error per another video.

Replaced board for dishwasher model gdt695sfl3ds. GE instructions & Troubling shooting center say it's personality 11. Ok, the old board had NO jumpers ( pulled all jumpers, don't work at all) used personality 11 steam & wash temp don't work, all others work.

Neither my origional control board nor the replacement board that I ordered have the personality jumpers kit. Is it possible to set the personality another way or is there somewhere I can order the jumper kit? (I cannot seem to find the jumper kit for sale anywhere)

My GE dishwasher model GDT605 is not on the jumper settings table sheet that came with the new user interface. Do you have any idea what personality I set the jumpers.
