If you are within the range of a atomic time transmitter you can just set the correct city and then hold the bottom button for a second or two to trigger the time sync. It’s most likely to work after midnight when the signal is strongest. If reception succeeds the watch will show the correct time. Set SMT to ON, the watch will turn it off automatically when the time signal indicates it is not in force. If you are in a place like Arizona that does not observe daylight saving time set it to OFF.

For USA people, The 9 o'clock body of the watch needs to be near a window and facing Ft Collins, Colorado, to get radio signal. Radio signal is MUCH Better if you set the watch after dark. This is due to the length of the radio waves transmitting and reflecting much better at night than day time off of the atmosphere.

Great Video; You need to mention that the watch MUST be sitting at a southern-facing window for a few minutes first so that it can establish a radio-link to the satellite before attempting to do any settings before you start ;)

Nice Explanation. Very Clear. Removes doubts about moving the crown clockwise and anti- and the buttons. The standard Time given on the dial is set. What if you are in a time zone which is HH+30m how do you go about doing that. ? You set the time locally but once the time is set manually does the AT take over or it lets the watch run on manually set time. ?

so i am guessing when i select a desired time zone, the SMT is not going to be automatic. I have to set it myself to let the watch know if the SMT is ON or OFF, correct? As in in my actual time zone if when SMT ends I have to switch to SMT OFF on my own?

The date changes at midday instead of midnight, how do I have it change when it hits midnight? 2. The time is supposed to be atomic. It should be radio controlled and automatically set. Mine doesn't so it's going back. It's a nice watch but how can they sell these things based on false information?
