Thanks for the post. I bought my GymBoss a while ago (it's my second), and the instructions were confusing. So I just tossed it aside. But I decided that I needed it for my WO's, so I headed to KZfaq for better instructions...and found them here. Thanks again.

Only one question, cant find anywhere info, does it beep before round goes to the end? Is it possible to set beep before round goes to the end for example 3-5seconds in advance? I mean if I setting to work 30s,beep should be on the 27th sec. Thanks in advance!

I have never seen this before. So if you're doing ab exercises on the mat you can do 30 seconds of leg raises, rest 5 seconds, then 30 seconds of crunches over and over and stay on time without ever looking at the clock? Is the chime from the workout & rest period the same tone?

Yes you can set unlimited number of rounds [99] with varying work and rest periods without looking at your switch or phone. Alerts vary from vibrate, loud beep, and soft beep.

I want a simple one minute timer to use over and over. I want to do a set of exercise then have the alarm go off 60 seconds after I complete a set. That’s all i need. I complete a set and start the 60 second timer to rest 60 seconds before I start my next set. I have been using a Kitchen timer but am looking for a better timer. Advice? thanks

Gym boss is the way to go.

Literally just follow the instructions in this video, but do 1 minute instead of 30 seconds. What you described is the 2 interval mode. 1 work interval, 1 rest interval = 2 intervals. There is no timer in the world that can watch you work out and detect when you finished your set, so either just use a work interval, or manually press a stopwatch. This is the better solution.

I don't see no light feature, I get up at 5 in the morning and it's dark I cannot see the clock

There isn't a light feature. If I'm in the dark, I will usually use the 'vibrate' + loud beep setting and clip it to the collar of my shirt or headband to my baseball cap so I feel it when it goes off.

Yes, ok, but sometimes I like to look at the clock to see were I am at, would be nice if it had a light feature

GymBoss Charge has a backlight. Came out after this video was made I think.
