Hi Elise, the brand I work for doesn't have e-commerce yet. They have a website with prices, but to order a client needs to call to buy (very high-end). This is honestly the most complicated thing I've ever had to do. Everything is connected but it says my instagram is "not eligible" and the reason why is "because it's not eligible". I've been trying to do this for 4 days. I've followed every single instruction I've come across and nothing seems to work. All I want is my products to come up on instagram! :'(

I wasted a good six hours total just trying to set up my Instagram shop and I’m really done I think Facebook has made things so freaking complicated and I got the same type of issues… Every time I got one thing fixed it would direct me to another page and then tell me I needed to do this and I needed to do that and it kept having all these read errors In the video when she said you don’t own their email addresses or their information that really turns me off and I just didn’t realize that! I think I’m just gonna have to use Instagram and TikTok to make video and direct people to my own Shopify website at this point!

My option was already on my main IG page next to Highlights HOWEVER it doesn’t do anything but give instructions on how you can simply go to your Shopify acct like the 2nd lady showed us

Yes I sell on Instagram but I dont always take advantage of it. I make resin Jewellery and I get so excited to show it that I might not have loaded it on my website or FB so I can't tag it. I have to slow down and be more methodical :)

I got approved, but my view shop icon is only visible on my account. And when I log into Shopify to check it says IG shopping isn’t available on ur account. So why did I receive a email from IG saying account is approved. This is waaaay to difficult & confusing.

Thank you for the informative video! When I got to “Instagram Business account” (page looks like this part of the video @7:50) But my instagram account says “Not Eligible” next to it. When clicking “Connect” a red box popped up, “Instagram shopping isn’t available due to following reason…”. I checked the requirements and don’t see the issue. Any idea what went wrong? Thank you.

Hi Elise, thank you for sharing such a clear and in depth video. Not sure if you know, but I tried tagging a product on an IG post, and the “price” did not show up. The shop icon on the bottom left corner did pop up but the price tag $ did not. Would be wonderful if you had any idea to how I can correct this. Thanks!

So I actually attempted to connect my Etsy to my Instagram and it was rejected. So when I try to click on business instead of it saying setup Instagram shopping it says check shopping review status and my commmerce account was approved but website review rejected and I don’t know how to change it or get out of it?
