*Welcome to the channel make sure to click that subscribe button and that bell icon for me. Today we are taking a look at installing all and any type of speakers with wire to any type of receiver. Speakers come in all shapes and sizes and navigating them is sometimes tricky when you have more complex systems. Thats where I come in I'm always here to assist you in your technical speakers and stereos electronics and anything else.
Speakers are simple usually are always one POSITIVE wire and one NEGATIVE wire.
Speaker systems can get a little more complicated. Just take things step by step and stay organized.
In this video I show you how to strip wire with scissors and make any connections nessesary.

Make sure those wires don't get confused and your are good! You can use special indicators on the wire that allow you to easily locate positive and negative such as the strip and the red and silver wire colours. ( There may be other ways )

Speakers aren't generally a voltage that can harm you the receivers on the other hand generally are powered and have more voltage so don't try and take things apart if they ain't working - Take them to a qualified professional

Hello, thanks to share this interting video. I need to ask 2 questions please: 1) I have Onkyo too, I need to buy a new frontal speaker. If I leave my Subwoofer, I can buy the Elac Debut b5.2 with less bass than its bigger Elac DEBUT 2.0 B6.2 model (with more bass). Do you think I can be wrong? 2) Then ... since I would like to listen to a good narrator voice of my documentaries, perhaps the Elac Debut b5.2 is better for this, am I wrong? Thanks

Thanks for the video. I'm trying to set up an older JBL home theater system that was gifted to me and am running into an issue identifying the polarity of the speaker wire. The wires aren't colored, however, one side has a white line running along the casing and the other doesn't. Which side would go into the positive input of the speaker/receiver and which would go into the negative?

White or line wire is positive.😊

That’s right white line side is positive. Technically you can use the white line for positive or negative as long as you have the same on both ends.

You might need to select different speakers A or B from the front of the receiver.

Hi, I have 2 jbl stage A135c center speakers vertical on the wall each side my tv. I also have 3 floor standing speakers in 3 corners, front left front right and back left corner.. I have 2 subs and 2 bookshelf.. my avr reciever denon AVR-X1700H.. I cannot have 1 center speaker above or below my tv so I need help trying to set these up best way possible.. I was thinking about using the back left or front right floorstanding speakers jbl stage A190 as a center? And use surround L/R for both my jbl A135c center speakers. Do you have any suggestions that may help

Hey boss, appreciate the video 🔥 An older sibling gifted me some JBL Control 5s speakers. These things require these types of cables. But I’m not sure if I should get an amp or receiver. I just want a quick set up to listen to my beats from my laptop 💻. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

You could use any receiver. You would need 3.5mm aux plug from laptop to receiver or something that had Bluetooth. You don’t need to spend much you may be able to get something suitable from a 2nd hand store for cheap. 👍 thanks. :)

Hey I have an older system that doesn’t have a specific terminal for a sub. What would be the best way to connect one? I only use 2 speakers atm and it has plenty of terminals unused…it run on an “A” - “B” power button system.

You might need to attach 2 wires together to switch plugs.

Hi @The Review King I just got a Sony TA212A stereo amplifier(8ohms to 16ohms) for a great deal… want to hook it up to my cassette deck and tuner. This amp has screws on the back for speaker connectors. I have a Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 which I want to connect…..I am not sure how to approach it….what I would need to do, please help 🙏🏼….

Hi, I have jbl stage A190 set up and have 1 center speaker vertical on the wall next to the tv, i want to get another jbl center speaker for the other side but only have enough ports on my avr reciever for 1, can i use surround L/R for these or use 1 center speaker port and 1 surround, would that work

You could put both speakers into 1 port it would split the power but still be center.

@TRK-_- that's all I wanted was a straight answer thanks mate others just say don't get 2 lol. If you could see my setup, you'd understand. I'm using KabelDirekt - Pure Copper Stereo Audio Speaker Wire & Cable - 2x4mm² with banana plugs. Could I possibly put both speaker wires together then add banana plugs or just forget using the plugs? The wire is a little thick. It's all new to me so any help I do appreciate thanks mate

Boss, I have a car set. As usual there are four audio output lines. 1.Front Right 2.Front Left 3.Rear Right 4.Rear Left And I also have 4 tweeters and 4 oval coaxial speakers.(total=8) I need to get treble sounds more from those tweeters and bass sounds from oval speakers.And also I need good surround sounds. There are are not any sub woofers. How can I connect these lines to these speakers.Which audio line should connect to which speaker/s? Pls. Give me a solution.

You need a bass blocker. Use the same speaker wires just extend them to the tweeters with the bass blockers

What if my speaker has 4 port for Wires and when I plug them in on the top ports it only has the tweeters playing and when the bottom is plugged in it’s only the driver playing. how do I set them up to play both speakers.

Jude use a small piece of wire and connect the left and right to bother the driver and tweeter. But on the positive side you need a tweeter crossover.

I know this video is three years old but I’m trying to connect two jenson speakers to a 1989 stereo, I think I wired them correctly and have an aux for my phone but music will only play off my phone when the radio is turned off which is really weird but it also only plays at a super low volume even with my phone turned all the way up, when I turn the radio on my quite music stops and It only wants to play the radio

I have a Yamaha RS V 2300 receiver and when I first hooped up my speakers, I noticed that the right side of the “A” speaker had much less volume than the left side. I ended up using the left side of the “B” speaker and that solved my problem. Do you think that the problem is simply readjusting the speaker volumes using the remote control?

You technically can just put the 2 blacks and 2 reds together and put them in like 1 speaker.
