I’ve gone from a TINY 1.5x2.5 petstore cage, paper bedding, small hay rack, bad quality hay, and gross pellets to a 5x2 C&C cage, fleece liners, large hay bin, good quality hay, 2 hideys and a bridge, a tunnel, toys, and much better pellets!!! Adding my comment about Roxy's "hurdle" skills. Not only did she clear the side but she missed Callie hiding in the hay next to the hay pan wall!!! That's some serious "sproing" going on!!!

I love your videos. I have two girl guinea pigs. Before i got them, I was watching your videos to get research and make sure i could take care of them and give them a happy and healthy and your videos helped me so much. I got everything a guinea could need. their living in a c & c cage and its a 5 by 3. they have tunnels and hides and lots of hay and chew toys. and still plenty of room to run around and popcorn. I appreciate your tips so much! I started buying meadow hay for the litter tray, and using the Timothy hay as a topper treat on the side. They love it, and it saves us about $50 a month!

I just got guinea pigs and haven't seen or heard them touch the water bottle, i just filled up a spare food dish with water! It's also more natural. I Brought a "Pets at home cage" for 2 guinea pigs, but i brought the biggest £50 one they had. the massive ferplast one. At sometime, when i got all stuff i need! Like loads foods, hay, fleece bedding, and more! I got them from the "adoption part, they were part of animal rescue" :) I had to donate a minimum of £20 per a guinea pig!

Have you started your new cage yet? I’m anxiously waiting to see what you do for ideas for our cage (we’re currently in a 8x2 c&c cage with basic square grids) that we want to upgrade. The corflute needs to be replaced, so thinking about possibly doing either a wood cage a bit like yours but bigger for our 5 piggies, or getting some new baby grids around the sides and clear grids for the front on a smaller stand. We don’t have babies right now, but if we were to ever get babies in the future, I don’t want to have to worry about baby proofing.😊

me and my family (im 14) are inquiring to adopting to adopt 2 guinea pigs (that will be my responsibility excluding finanial costs) and even thuogh ive been researching for litteral months and asked thm in the first place im a tad stressed about finding everything and bonding with them and what if they will hate me even though i am an animal whisperper like my pet shrimp will come to glass for food (although my hamster hates me but thats because even though i love him he is mainly awake when im asleep). anyways back to the main point, that even though ive been stressed youe videos and their exited deminer have really eased my nerves :)

Yes that is good for three guinea pigs but the space should be on one continuous flat level.

I have a question, I just got a nice bedding pad, but it isn’t made of fleece, so I don’t know if it will be absorbent. It is made of fabric though. Do you think it will be ok?

I appreciate the video. I have two unexpected foster piggies (my first Guinea pigs) and have been a bit confused. Are mine the only ones who pee and poop literally everywhere and the lounge on it? I put puppy pads down but they also pee on their blankies and fabrics. I feel like I should be washing everything daily just to keep it clean. I got some carpet remnant for them but am not sure if I should put it down since they’ll just pee on it and washing the carpet would be more difficult. I want to take good care of my fosters but feel like I’m failing.

Great videos! I hope you can help me with a question. Is it possible to have guinea pigs on a wired-bottom, covered with fleece, in an elevated cage outside? So that the pee will go through the fleece and down to the ground, and the fleece protecting against bumblefoot? Or will there be too much draft through the fleece? Or will the fleece not wick away pee, without an absorpant layer? Just thinking of ways to make the guinea pig cage last longer between fleece washes :) Hope you can enlighten me, cheers!

Hi Sarah I really want a C&C cage but I can't buy it online Is there somewhere else I can get it for the piggies also my parents won't let me keep them inside but when it's the school holidays by the way I'm Alison I am using my dad's name I'm the one that actually watches your videos anyway when it's the holidays were going on holiday and the guinea pigs are coming in their cage for the garage ( because their only allowed outside) and it has everything you said they like fleece and big piles of hay so I hope they realise it won't smell.🐹

As long as it isn’t really short it will be fine kinda they might put there two front paws on it and stand but they can’t jump high so they should be fine. Hope this helped
