For anyone that has a problem with your audiobox not being found. Unplug your audiobox and reinstall the program! I downloaded an older software version and unplugged my audiobox and then updated and then i plugged back in. Works with no problem now!

THANK YOU SO MUCH i had so many issues with my audiobox, and the quickstart guide it came with told me to plug in my condenser mic into the second port, and it was really screwy, and i was getting really frustrated, but thanks to this video, i now know that they screwed up the handbook i was given. thank you so much. i was really frustrated.

Thanks so much man. This was an amazingly efficient, concise tutorial. I'm new to recording, and I finally realised why my vocal recordings sounded so terrible even though I have a nice Rode NT1 mic. I'm using audacity and I hadn't taken all these steps..... so my recordings were using the crappy inbuilt laptop mic. You're a lifesaver! I bought this with to be able to use my condenser mic on my android and iPhone because the salesperson told me this is what I needed. I cannot find one tutorial about this and cannot understand how it can even be done. Tried to return it and no go so I believe I was sold a microphone and interface that are going to keep being used for expensive deco paperweights.

Very informative thanks. If I plug my stereo keyboard into both inputs will the headphone monitor be stereo or does the interface sum them to mono? HELP!!! I keep trying everything I can think of but on higher volume I’m getting a lot of clipping on normal balanced audio. Does the idea of maxing the mic in windows and turning down gain on the interface seem like the norm? I just set my AT2020 to 100 in windows, and turned the gain knob down on my scarlett solo gen 2 interface. Quality seems better while being louder, maybe this was the tuning my mic needed?

It does not even want to record. with avid audio interface it was straight forward but now I am struggling for 4 hours to get this thing right. If you are thinking of buying this please ask presonus to check your pc specs and advice you on how you should go about the installation. i followed the awesome example in this video but I am still stuck and it is day two today.
