Hey I just tried to do my gains yesterday with a cheap oscope from Amazon yesterday and just turning my unit in creates a signal with no music playing and it looks like distortion is created at like around 24 volume the head unit is a Kenwood 905dx or something along those lines it was their flagship unit when I bought it 3 years ago first with wireless Android auto but the max volume is 40 and being that this should be a quality unit I'm confused why I'm getting such bad clipping. Is there a discord or forum I can seek out some help with this?

Yeah this is really late but why would you set your equipment listening to a thousand Hertz tone? I thought the norm is like a 30 or 40 tone and aren't you supposed to match what the voltage output is for how many watts you are using with the paper? you used 24.95 you set it at 25 something

Maybe this has been answered but why are gains not being set with a signal that covers more of the spectrum? Something like pink noise. Music plays at more than just 40hz or 1khz.
