99% of people have their mirrors aimed inwards way to much. You do not need to see half your vehicle in your own mirror. I have my adjusted outwards so you would have to tilt your head towards the side more to see the vehicle

awesome,give it a try,you should be able to catch it leaving the side mirror coming into yout peripheral vision without a gap.im sure i said it in the video but its been ahile since ive watched it. Thanks for the watch :)

yeah, but those two cars were completely hidden before they got close to you, not a big deal a slow speeds, but a very big deal with faster speeds and longer stopping distances

They are not hidden in my rear view mirror. I use my rear view for what’s behind me and side view for my sides.

I see the point but what do I do when it’s time to back in? I know backing into a parking space is less important than seeing your blind spot but I don’t trust the mirrors that much anyway, I always look over my shoulder before I merge

If I’m on a long stretch of interstate or whatever that’s not busy and just driving and need to switch lanes,I’ll check also just to be certain where everyone is at and get my bearings and all. To me it’s more useful in busier traffic when your really paying attention. Most of the time I can still spot the parking space lines if I’m backing into a spot ,I may have to move around in the seat some. Blind spot mirrors are the best of both worlds though

Do not listen to this person, always look in your blind spot. What if you’re on a three lane highway and you’re in the far left lane changing lane to the left “and” a car in the far right lane is changing lane to the right at the same time, bam accident. This happens all the time to me on the highway and the blind spot saves me every time. Also motorcycles are a lot smaller, don’t take chances killing someone just trying to save yourself a second in looking back 😤🤔🧐.

This does eliminate your blind spot,Semi's cant see directly behind them or 100% on the sides so they have to trust their mirrors,always know your surroundings and pay attention ,nothing wrong with checking over your shoulder but also nothing wrong with having your mirrors adjusted correctly.

Wrong info. By the very limitation of light traveling in straight lines, you will have blind spots at key spots in your car rear view mirrors field of vision. Don't be stupid, add secondary blind spot mirrors and see the difference yourself.
