How would this be done exactly? Putting an external filter into a paludereum with a closed lid tank… there’s basically no info on this when searched. I have an exo terra 24x18x36 and want to turn it into something similar and was going to put a normal pump in for water circulation. With 3 whites tree frogs I feel that won’t be enough but don’t know where to begin with putting an external pump in.

One more question. I noticed that you showed the liquitex matte varnish in the video, but had liquitex BASICS matt varnish (which I'm having a hard time finding) in the links. I'm certain they are both interchangeable, but I wanted to make sure you approved of either or for tree frogs? And also, I saw you used craftsmart acrylic paints. Are all acrylics from this line safe, are there colors I should avoid?

Question. Is a heat lamp required for green tree frogs. I’ve been reading they require 25-28 degrees Celsius during the day and lower temps at night. Would I leave the terrasky on for 8-12 hours a day? Going to have live plants and i know my mosses are dying because I have the old tank and it fills up with water too much and my soils are disgusting lol. Got this tank coming with the drain. Should I keep the drain valve open 24/7? Reckon isopods or springtails are beneficial too? It’s going to be misted daily and fogged too

What is the dri-lock for? Do you need to use it if you are using silicone and sticking substrate to the background? Also, do you need any type of filter for the pond? How does it stay clean? Do you have to drain the water periodically and replace it? And if you dont have a "drain" how would you do this? Siphon it out? I am a little lost on the pond section. I have several grey tree frogs.
@MikeTytula
@MikeTytula 3 жыл бұрын
Did you watch the entire video? Because it’s a method used an alternative to the silicone and substrate method. I would strongly recommend a small filter, or at very least a circulation pump. It’s just like any other aquarium, weekly water changes at a minimum.

Is this sponsored? Wondering because I’m interested you chose a monsoon over a mistking. I’ve seen some bad reviews for the monsoon but it’s a relatively cheaper option compared to a mistking.
@MikeTytula
@MikeTytula 3 жыл бұрын
I say in the video it is sponsored. The mistkings don't fit in the tank like the monsoon was built too. The new monsoons have fixed a lot of the errors in the past. With that said, the mistking offers a wider output and finer misting.
