In this video, I'll be giving a breakdown of how I set up the client portals that I use for my design projects using Trello.com. This is a great way to provide for streamlined communication and easy organization when working with clients.

Try the rocket model and brake it into building blocks. Starting with the foundation and work your way up. subtasks are put into blocks like a countdown system witch tiggers next step in the overall countdown system til you have lift-off. Adding in check points from the client at different states in the design phases.

Thank you this helps so much an it looks awesome. Maybe you can make a video about how you keep track on all your to do's with all your projects in Trello? I am really curious if you work with a masterboard or something like that?

Glad this helped! I currently don't have a masterboard within Trello. But I keep track of my overall projects using Dubsado!

I just found your video it was perfect! I have a similar client board that I use but I was struggling with the flow. You pretty much solved it! Thank you! I also use Dubsado and I was curious about how you use it for clients when you are actively working with them. Do you also create a Client Portal within Dubsado for each client? (FREE template!! That is very generous! Thank you again ❤

Glad it was helpful! I don't use the Dubsado client portal since it's so limited for what I'd need. I prefer an external client portal so I have extra details!

while this maybe makes sense to you I think a rocket model would simplify the process and make it easier for none teknical clients to understand the process. Making the client know where you are in the process at all times. Also adding a bit of fun to the process + you can say we have lift-off!! when a project is done. Lesser processes can kickstart bigger blocks on the rocket your building and so on.

So the client will need to download Trello ?

Yes! They'll need to create a Trello account. But it's free!
