If you want to charge for your community, does it have a checkout system that handles payments or do you have to go handle that elsewhere?

You can get Stripe and integrate it with Skool so you can charge right from your Skool account. You can also create separate payment links that are embedded in your Skool community, classroom, or calendar to get paid for different types of offers. Soon you'll be able to do everything completely inside of Skool. Hope this helps 🙂

Everyone needs help! Don’t think you are a beginner you CAN help people. Also, simplify the money process. I know it seems bewildering now but just don’t be worried at first. Ask for what you think and don’t worry if you think you are asking too much - ask anyway

You could create free and paid classrooms as well as engaging content that is inside the community. You can use audio or you could have someone create images to turn your audio into a video. Either will work since you're getting paid to get people results it's the main thing. How they get there is secondary. As long as it's faster, easier, and more fun than trying to figure out on their own (which is why they'd pay you :)

You could use the About page media section (pictures/videos) to show who it is by and you could make it even more presentable and nice looking as well doing it that way.

50/50 you can make it whatever really but aim for 50/50 with a 2-3k setup cost aim for that you can always negotiate a price with the client

Yes! You can use separate Stripe links and embed them into the classroom, calendar, or community. Then let them have access to different classrooms and calendar events.

Because inside their community they went into settings and turned their community into a paid community. You can also change it from public to private but public gives you great SEO exposure. You have a lot of different options to make you community work just the way you want it too. Hope this helps 🙂

Can I set this up directly with the creator so that I am the owner but the creator can add videos and also get paid directly a certain amount from the money made off the community. Like if I take a 40/60 split with the creator, is there way to set it up so that I get 40% of the money from the community and the creator gets 60%

Its not like an option that you click in skool but its not too hard to set up. You could just send the money each month to the creator at a set day each month

Absolutley! I do it everyday within my free community. I simply use Stripe payment links and allow people to pay for individual training, coaching, or memberships. Skool is going to be updating soon with even more features that will allow you to do this with even more ease. Hope that helps 🙂

If you initially make a group free and people join, but later you change it to a recurring monthly payment so that new members have to pay to join the group, will pre-existing members be forced to pay or will they continue to pay $0?

If you start a Skool community you can also help 3 people through your Skool link to get started and your account will be free. Skool pays 40% affiliate commission on all referrals. Makes running a Skool business free. You got this 💪
