MESSAGE FROM A VIRGIN PAINT SPRAYER. I just bought the Graco X19. Never have used one of these before. I have watched a lot of how to type videos but watching someone else use these machines and using one yourself for the first time is a different story. I know that the sprayer I purchased is capable. The questions become... Am I capable? Will I make a mess of the job? What will discharging the gun actually feel like? Here is the solution for my lack of confidence. I WILL USE STRAIGHT WATER TO SPRAY MY GARAGE DOOR UNTIL I REACH A SATISFACTORY LEVEL OF COMFORT WITH THIS EQUIPMENT AND MY TECHNIQUE.

Great Job Matt. I've built houses for years but never got into the painting thing. I'm getting ready to paint my outside of the house and plan on renting an airless sprayer to make the job go faster and not waste so much paint. I have a Wagner Twin Stroke 3000 painter that an uncle gave me. It didn't have any instructions or any type of lubrication but I've noticed that on some models use some kind of lubrication is added! Is that lubrication only for small gas powered airless sprayers?

Thanks for a great job of explaining how to use an airless sprayer. I have never used one before and your explanation is very helpful! I was wondering if your particular sprayer has a filter in the handle? I believe the sprayer that an uncle gave me, (without any user guide) has one in the handle. I noticed that there's a filter at the end of the siphon tube that's placed into the paint bucket! Is that filter all that I need to do a job? I'd also like to know if using an airless sprayer uses more paint than just using a roller or brush?
