Yes you can. Depending on your plans you’ll need more components, but it’s a good base.

I think all you have to do is upload a new sketch using Arduino IDE!

Thanks for watching! I only speak English, but Google translate tells me you are wondering if Arduino IDE will be better than Micropython. The Arduino community is a lot larger than the Micropython community, so there are a lot more libraries and support found online for it. Micropython is great if you already know and love Python for programming, and if you like to create your own functions. My go to is generally Arduino IDE and Micropython for curiosity and exploration. Not all Arduino libraries work for ESP32, so be cautious. Good luck on your projects!

@@BaldGuyDIY Other people even report problems with the Arduino library. My solution for my projects was Raspberry PI and similar cards today there are cards that integrate, AI with IOT on the same example board Sipeed-Maix-BIT-RISC-V-Dual-Core-64bit

@@airtonfelipe9829 it definitely depends on the project. A raspberry Pi can often be the perfect solution, other times a microcontroller is better, for lower power and reliability. One thing to remember is that Arduino and ESP32 are microcontrollers, the Raspberry Pi is a microcomputer. They have different strengths and weaknesses. I’m glad you found a good solution!

Thanks for watching! I don’t doubt that other software could be just as good or better. However, you must have missed a step with uPyCraft because it will definitely work when it’s not connected to a computer. Perhaps the script was not saved properly to the microcontroller?

You’re right that there are less libraries and support for Micropython than for Arduino, but if you’ve written code for Python before the consistency is really nice. Also, there’s no need to be afraid because all you have to do is upload a sketch from Arduino to the ESP32 and it goes right back. No firmware flash needed.
