How To Setup EZVIZ Cameras + Basic App Walkthrough
Setup your EZVIZ cameras in the mobile application and in your home with this basic setup and walk through tutorial video for the EZVIZ application. This is intended to be a full #setup #guide for EZVIZ and get you started with your smart home cameras. I have found the EZIVIZ app needs a bit of a guide for you to gain full use of your EZVIZ cameras and equipment.

Hey love your videos. Question I see in the video where you can see 4 cams at once but in the new update I don’t see it do you have an idea where it is that would be great thanks

hi does the camera itself needs to be connected to wifi network at all times? or just once during initial setup? i ask because my dad wants to have one like this installed at home in india before he goes overseas for few months but issue is the network he has at home is metered and unstable dropping connections etc.

He'll need a connection for it to work well. Sorry. It can record to an SD card though. But he won't get notifications!

I have an error installing the camera. “Registering to ezviz platform failed” i dis try multiple times even the wired connection still failed. Need help

Sure, yep! Install and login on each phone, or share with others who have their own accounts.

I'd chat with EZVIZ support on that one. I think there's a way you could save it from the app, so I'm betting they have a log of it.

I have one of these but it’s on someone else’s email and it won’t connect in the app how do I change that email?

I'm not sure if you can. Might have to remove the camera from that account and bring it to a new account.

So factory reset the camera if you can't get it to show in the app.

Put it into infra red mode if you have the old app setting

Nice video. Thanks for the walkthrough. Please, I want to ask that can I use a different email account for the same camera. Let me explain. I want to monitor my apartment on two devices, that is me and my wife but I don't want to login into the app with the account I created with my mail on my wife's phone. So, the question is, can she create her own EZVIZ account with her email and connect to the same camera without denying me access to the same camera?

That's likely an issue with your WiFi being full. Maybe try dropping a few items offline when you're going to connect it to WiFi...so just unplug them.

@@TechYourLife1 thanks for reply it was to do with Internet I was running on 5ghz instead of 2.4 had to go into my internet settings and change them all. Everything working good now

I will never buy another EZVIZ or ZMODO camera. They work for a little while but, then make you by cloud storage and when you do not the ZMODO camera messes up the video and will not let you download the video to your phone. Its like only having a clip that you can view on camera but cannot save . Same thing with the EZVIZ, if you change internet providers and have to set it up on the new router. You have to delete the camera and then when you try to add it back to the new router it is not possible to do because that camera is already registered to you and they have the serial number and they will make you pay for storage even if you do not need it. Waste of money, I should have just purchased the BLINK XT2 cameras only. Now I am stuck with 4 zmodo camera and 1 ezviz.

@@TechYourLife1 Not yet I recently switched, to Frontier from Spectrum only because I thought the 500/500 would be a noticeable difference in speed which was 200/11. I did not take into account that WIFI is wifi and it is not provider dependent. Frontier makes me rent their stinking router and at first i thought it may be a decent router but, the MAC filtering does not work correctly. I added about 11 devices to MAC filtering to keep any other devices off of my wifi exept my camera, laptops, desktops but the filtering does not make a difference. I know the issue for sure with the ZMODO's it is the update that that sent to me that messed cameras up. I had 4 of those. The EZVIZ was a neat little camera when it worked. I guess I could try to reach out to them but if I do not pay for cloud, they really have no incentive to help me. I just got Frontier less than 2 weeks ago. I am going to have to pay them $150 for first month. But, I will cancel and go back to Spectrum this week. Frontier has a crappy wifi router. Even my Blink camera will not stay connected to it. It was not really broke before with Spectrum, I should have left it alone. But, I have had issues with the Zmodo and EZviz before when I tried to upgrade from a Netgear to a Linksys Mesh router. So, I need to get the provider worked out before I work with on the camera again... Thank you for replying, Thanks for listening.
